I am ignorant about cars, and when my (very used) old car finally bit the dust I was terrified. I bought a subscription to Consumer Reports, started reading, saw the great reliability records for Subarus, but was overwhelmed with options and my lack of understanding. Then I remembered that Cityside had always been reliable in taking care of our old Subaru some years ago, and they got great reviews from my neighbors. A trusted relationship seemed like the best place for me to start my search. So off I went to Cityside, found Junior, and had an informative, useful education in car-buying--all of which I checked out with friends and Consumer Reports and found to be accurate. Junior started with my needs and wants, and stayed on my side through the whole transaction. He helped me and my daughter pick the right car at the right price with the right options for us. He knew--as did everyone we spoke with at Cityside--that a happy customer builds the best business. Everything was transparent, from start to finish. Options were explained, extras were offered, no pressure was applied at any point along the way. I was able to think clearly about what I needed and wanted, and I walked away feeling taken care of and listened to. How rare is that? I finished up the paperwork with John Melvin, and again felt educated and confident every step of the way. I am so pleased with my car and with my relationship with Cityside. More

Great Used Car Purchase Experience Working with Junior was a pleasure. He stuck with us as we vacillated, first between new vs. used, and then later over the advantages/disadvantages of Working with Junior was a pleasure. He stuck with us as we vacillated, first between new vs. used, and then later over the advantages/disadvantages of an older model vs. newer. All of which was complicated by the special criteria related to the comfort of our older, large breed dog. He never pressured. He always asked what more he could be doing. In the negotiation phase, he stepped up and got us a great price. Then he went the extra mile to have some repairs taken care of. He even returned to the dealership after his shift had ended to walk me through the final delivery of the vehicle. Everyone at Citywide Subaru was friendly, professional, and helpful. I'm looking forward to bringing our "new" 2012 Outback to them for service in the years to come. More

What really inspired me to write this review was the closing. A few days before the closing our 1 year old came down with a double ear infection. The team at CitySide helped us get all the paperwork and final negotiations done over email to so we could walk in and finalize the deal as quickly as possible to make the experience easier on our family.
