David's Colorado Deciding to buy a Honda Ridgeline in 2008 was a great decision I had it for 168,000 miles 3major collisions , The last totaling the vehicle out, lucki Deciding to buy a Honda Ridgeline in 2008 was a great decision I had it for 168,000 miles 3major collisions , The last totaling the vehicle out, luckily the airbag never deployed as I found out after I got a brand-new Honda Ridgeline in the summer of 2014… Beautiful vehicle! I got a fully loaded and I use it for my carpentry work every day and it's a workhorse the in bed toolbox is second to none and I expected this vehicle to take me right into and through retirement… Then came the recall notice… I am a victim of the airbag disaster that's going on with a lot of vehicles and the Honda Ridgeline is one I drove my other one for 168,000 miles and this one for 42,000 miles three major accidents with my other one thank God the air bags never deployed, as you know there's a lot of defective ones that are throwing shrapnel out with the airbag and maiming and even killing people but this is been going on for seven years and I just find out now… They made me document the issue and expected me to bring it in with parts not being available till sometime in the summer of 2016 and they will allow me $35 a day for a rental which wouldn't even come close to what I would need to do my carpentry work… Recently, I got my case documented I tried to get out of my car and the inside handle broke, 41,000 miles on it and Honda told me I can pretty much bring in and pay to get it fixed or live with it … So I stuck my nose and my finger at Honda......And bought a beautiful brand-new Chevy Colorado fully loaded great safety features a four-wheel-drive I can go on the beach with again .a lower payment then I was paying before goodbye Honda hello Chevrolet! More
