Lies and avoidance I have never dealt with this kind of horrible customer service in my life. I brought my car in for my end of lease. They got me into a new Hyundai l I have never dealt with this kind of horrible customer service in my life. I brought my car in for my end of lease. They got me into a new Hyundai lease and told me that they would cover the rest of my payments on my current vehicle (the sales men I dealt with were wonderful though besides not informing me of how the payoff of the lease goes). Later they sent me a check and said they don't cover the payments I need to pay my final bill. I never received a bill. I was told I must have lost my bill. When I called Hyundai they said I owed $620 when Gateway only sent me $399 because they miscalculated the payments I had left. I went back and forth with Ryan and left voicemails because he was never available to talk and every time I finally got ahold of him he always said he never got my voicemails. Finally Ryan said they could not get me check for the rest of the money until I got them a bill with that amount. When I called Hyundai again to get a bill they told me that they have not sent out a bill because they wait 60 days to send it out and Gateway should know that. When I finally got my bill I emailed it to Ryan like I was told. I received no response. After waiting a few days I finally get ahold of him and he tells me he never got my email and then says oh wait I did and you will have a check cut for you to pick up on June 12th my bill was due 5 days after that. He said I would need to pay the money out of my own pocket so that my bill wasn't past due. I was not able to pick up the check on the 12th so I emailed him again to mail it to me. No response. After a week and half I called again to find out where my check was. I was told on June 21st that I was mailed to me on June 19th. I waited another week. Today I sent a request for the GM to call me because I was fed up with the lies and avoidance and dealing with Ryan. He never contacted me but forwarded it to Ryan. Ryan called me today and told me that my check was NEVER CUT AND NEVER MAILED! I constantly was lied to and avoided because every time I emailed or left a voicemail I was never contacted back. I will never deal with Gateway again and everyone I have talked to have said that they receive the same sort of customer service. I don't know how they can justify lying how many countless times. I was told twice my check was cut and ready and mailed when it never was. I had to pay money out of my own pocket that I could not afford to pay to pay a bill that I was never told I would have because they said "You don't need to worry about your final payments we have them covered" and I still don't have my money 2 1/2 weeks after paying the bill out of my own pocket. The GM couldn't even give me the courtesy to call me back when I requested a call and discuss this with me. More

Excellent Experience I wasn't sure what kind of vehicle we wanted, so we had planned to visit 4 dealerships that day. After driving a vehicle we loved, and looking at financials, we didn't even go to the others, we knew this was the right car at the right price for us! More

Very good buying experience I've been keeping an eye out for my next vehicle for quite awhile, not ever seeing anything I was really interested in. Passed an Armada on the road I've been keeping an eye out for my next vehicle for quite awhile, not ever seeing anything I was really interested in. Passed an Armada on the road on Friday, and it very much fit what I was looking for, so I did a local internet search to see if there were any worth looking at. Gateway had one that fit my criteria, so I decided I'd take a look while I was doing a few errands. I thought it was great looking, and was going to leave it at that for the time being, but decided I should at least do a quick test drive to gauge my interest, as well as have them evaluate my trade so I could get a ballpark of whether or not I would consider making a deal. Brandon (sales) came back with numbers that, frankly, were in line with what I considered fair, so I was going to further consider, as well as check my usual financing folks, etc, the coming week. I very much appreciated that I wasn't given a hard push; Brandon was very good about me getting back to him. Before I left, Nick (sales mgr) asked if there was anything he could do to have me consider getting a deal done that day - at which I explained to him my desire to check with lenders, as well as of course have my wife check out the vehicle as well. Nick assured me that the lender issue would not be a problem, and if I wanted to go with one I could cut a check to the other, and as for checking with my wife, he urged me to take the vehicle for an extended test drive to check that off the list as well. Long story short, I ended up with a new vehicle that day! The only negative I have is that the business was kind of backed up Saturday, so there was quite a wait to get to the business office part and also to have the new vehicle clean up. I'm not knocking my review points on this, as I had time this day; otherwise it may have been mildly frustrating. More
