In connection to my original post, yesterday after traveling from TX to LA once my oil was changed and tires were rotated, all of a sudden while driving….a tire warning displayed on my screen that my Front passenger tire pressure was at 26. Before that it showed:
Front:driver tire 33 & passenger tire 34 and
Back: driver tire 34 & passenger tire 35.
After I exited to a gas station to put air in the Front passenger tire that was showing 26, the Back passenger tire pressure was increasing???. I stopped putting air in the Front tire when I realized that as I continued to put air in the Front tire, the Back tire’s air pressure was actually increasing and it was showing 55 on my display screen.
I called Burleson Nissan and asked for Nick. I was told to hold and immediately the call transferred to his voicemail. Nick’s voicemail was full and I could not leave a message and the call ended. I immediately called back and asked for someone in the service department. Someone named Tad answered and I asked again for someone in the Service Department. Tad stated that he works the Service Department and asked what he could help me with. I began to tell him what was going on and that’s why I called because I need to know what is going on with my car because it was not doing thus when I came in fir service and it has never done this.
At this point, Tad says that the Service Department closes at 5 and is closed? ???? (I’m frustrated, also, at this point because I am stranded at a gas station in Monroe, LA and my car is doing something that I don’t understand and there is no one at the dealership, that I just took my car to that morning, who can help me.) He proceeds to tell me that it sounds like my tires need recalibrated and I can take it to a dealership near where I am. He gives me Sparks Nissan in Monroe, LA and their phone number.
I, then, called Sparks and after going through everything with them (and mind you, it is storming extremely bad right now), the guy that I talked to said what Tad said about my tires needing recalibrating. He said his Service Department was closed. He asked if I had a tire gauge and I responded that I did not. He suggested that I purchase one and manually check the air pressure of each tire. He suggested that I air each tire to the appropriate pressure using the manual gauge and hopefully that would get me to where I was trying to go.
I, then, called back to Burleson Nissan and asked for Tad again so that I could advise him of the situation and that I will be returning to the dealership for them to correct whatever was messed up during my visit for an oil change and tire rotation, however I was placed on hold several times, in which I asked for the owner or manager at one point and I was on hold for a total of 8 minutes and still no one answered. Finally, when a young lady answered, she could not tell me the young lady’s name who had put me on hold and she had no idea of why I called in the first place. I was so frustrated and I did not feel like going over everything, yet again, with another person. I advised her that I would be coming back to the dealership to speak with the owner of manager because I’m almost certain that they expect better service given to their customers.
I did as the guy from Sparks Nissan suggested and was able to return back to TX around 11pm… late last night.
