Not real happy with Emich Chevrolet right now. The sold me a used 2025 chevy Blazer with a bad telematics module in it. Now waiting for a replacement part going 4 weeks with no eta on the replacement part From I see online in that GM has a failure issue with this part What I'm upset about is how Emich sold me this car with a bad telematics module. This car should have never sold with a bad telematics module in it. Not sure why they didn't catch the problem before selling me car. I found the problem after talking to on star the day after buying the car. The my chevrolet app and GPS hasn't communicated in over 6 months now. The last update was when the car had around 4500 miles on it. I purchased the car with around 9200 miles on it. I think there should be some kind of compensation to for selling me a car that not fully operational More

Doug, thank you for sharing your experience and we are sorry to hear about the frustration this has caused. We want to be clear and transparent — a telematics module failure of this nature is not something that presents itself during a standard pre-sale inspection. There are no warning lights, no drivability concerns, and no visible indicators that would flag this type of issue at the time of sale. We would never knowingly sell a vehicle with a pre-existing problem, and had this been detectable, it would have been addressed before the car ever left our lot. As you noted yourself, GM has a known and documented issue with this component across multiple vehicles. This is a manufacturer defect that is entirely outside of Emich Chevrolet's control — both in terms of the original failure and the current parts delay. We understand that is frustrating to hear, but we want to make sure the full picture is clear. We encourage you to work directly with GM Customer Care at 1-800-462-8782 to escalate the parts delay and discuss any compensation related to this known defect, as this matter falls under GM's responsibility as the manufacturer. We appreciate your patience and thank you for being an Emich Chevrolet customer.

This not a sales person issue This is dealership issue I know dealership does an inspection of the vehicle when they purchased it. My concern here is that this a known issue with vehicle that they should be verified that the telematics module is working on the car before sell the car especially used ones. Maybe the dealership should include the telematics module in their vehicle inspection process from now on. I've called GM customer care 3 times and hitting the same road block "We have no ETA on this part"
