"Very helpful and supportive purchase of a car in one day."
I found Clay Subaru employees to be knowledgeable and attentive. Even when the salesperson I was working with, Franco Cortina, was off doing an errand, if I had a question filling out a form, or answering a question from my insurer, I was able to ask others and they were very polite and helpful.
Franco was a great combination of attentiveness, knowledge, yet not "overly-hovering." I don't think he really believed me at first when I said I was going to buy a car from him that day, but even at the beginning when he was probably skeptical, he was very polite, attentive, answered questions, and allowed me to test drive all 3 models I asked for. I thought he facilitated the prcoess quite well.
Once he realized I was definitely buying a car, he really made the paperwork go as fast as possible. While it was a long process, I cannot fault Clay Subaru or Franco--it clearly takes time to get all the state required paperwork done, and Franco did a good job checking in with me each step of the way.
He has checked in since I purchased the car as well and I have appreciated it, facilitating the inspection sticker process and my learning curve on this brand new car.
I would recommend Franco and Clay Subaru for easing the purchase of a car!
I don't know about the service yet as I have yet to bring the new car in, but based on this experience, I am not at all concerned.
The employees at Clay Subaru are very friendly and helpful. I have purchased 5 vehicles from the dealership and the salespeople were very friendly and took their time to explain the different vehicles to me. They were very knowledgeable about the product.
I bring all my vehicles in for repairs and the service staff is very prominent in get me out at a timely fashion.

I searched for cars over the internet. I received an email asking which trim and options I wanted. I looked at Clay's listing of new Outbacks and selected several stock #'s. They sent me a fantastic quote which they honored. It was nice not to get hassled. Everyone in the showroom were pleasant. My wife and I love our new Tungsten Metallic colored Outback. I recommend Clay Subaru and our salesperson Joe Caporizzo.
"Things Got Better (Revised)"
My first review of Clay Subaru was a bad one, but once Oscar LiDonni, the General Manager contacted me, things definitely got better. He truly went out of his way for me to the point where he let me take his car (dealer car) home to Rhode Island while they repaired my car. I appreciate the effort he made in making things right.

Call was made that service was complete. Arrived at dealership an hour later and paperwork was not ready but car was on lot. Took another 30 minutes for paperwork. Two items serviced may not be complete. Still have trouble lights on dash. Have to bring car back.

When I arrived at Clay Subaru wasn't sure what to expect. My salesman was very knowledgeable an definitely not pushy. I really wasn't sure if a Subaru was what I wanted since I was looking at Toyota .After driving a few vehicles I decided to buy. Glad I did. I am very happy with my vehicle. Wish I could of bought new but maybe next time. Great place to do business,

They made buying a new car a stress free, enjoyable experience. They have the knowledge necessary to explain everything clearly to the customer, coupled with genuine concern for the customer’s needs. I was initially unsure if I could even afford a new car, but with their guidance and support, I was able to not only get an awesome new car, but it was so easy and done so efficiently. When I arrived Patrick the manager of the sales dept introduced me to a client advisor and the Prius was nicer than we could have imagined After doing some complete transparent paper work with Brian we were done and ready to drive off. We met Oscar the general manager on the way out and thanked him for the easiest experience ever. He thanked us as well
"Good until the purchase"
Harvey Rain did a good job. Too long of wait period. A customer shy not have to wait so (2 1/2 hours .After all is said and done the dealer should be concerned ho the customer feels when he/ she feels leaving the building-in my case I was glad to get out.
