Assisted my son in buying his dream car My son located a specific model camero at Ryan Chevrolet in Buffalo that he was interested in purchasing. We drove up about an hour to look at it and was met by Tanner, one of the salesman. We discussed the car and history at length with Tanner who was more than helpful in providing the information and history we were looking for on this used vehicle. After learning about the car, we told Tanner that we were going to think it over since it was a big decision for my son. We were pleasantly surprised in that Tanner was very accepting of our decision, and did not try and pressure us into the sale. After a day, my son decided to purchase the car and we met again with Tanner to do the necessary paperwork. I was extremely pleased with the manner in which the entire sales process went. They treated us, specifically my son, with the utmost respect and kindness. I myself have purchased many vehicles over the years, and can say....Ryan Chevrolet provided the best I've experienced. Worst Dealer Experience I am not sure why I am posting this, since Ryan Auto will likely remove it to hide my terrible experience from the honest, hard-working people of Minn I am not sure why I am posting this, since Ryan Auto will likely remove it to hide my terrible experience from the honest, hard-working people of Minnesota. No one likes a long review, so I will try to make it short: I recently traded my 2012 Jeep Patriot in for a 2013 Chevy Silverado. I was ready for something bigger, and the price was right on the truck, as advertised. I spent 6 hours on the road, and 2+ hours at the dealership to do this deal. Once I got there, they low balled me on the original trade offer of the Jeep and even after negotiation, they lied to me on the final amount. I was told they would cut me a check for the difference, but now they claim we never discussed a difference. I later found out that the truck did not have heated seats as advertised, to which they responded with “there is a disclaimer stating not all of our info may be accurate". After more back-and-forth, they said they would give me a small discount if I wanted to drive 3+ hours one way to have them installed at a later date. I have had the truck for less than a week, and the band-aids are starting to fall off. I am finding all sorts of little problems that they hid to sell it, and I am still trying to get the money that they agreed to pay me. Jeff Nelson was my salesman, and has proven to be a stereotypical used-car salesman, lying to me and saying whatever required to make his commission. He pawned all the actual decisions off on his manager, Tim Adams, whom I can only assume is the king of dishonest used-car jockeys. If you find a nice vehicle at Ryan Auto, do yourself a favor and go to any other dealer. You will get more respect and better service from pretty much anywhere else. More
