Fair and reasonable buying experience Was very nice and easy to work with. Answered all my questions and was friendly. I gave this rating a 4 star because I had called there a few times and talk to him stating that I wanted this suv but that I thought they could go down on the price a little. I wasn't coming back in to the dealership unless they were willing to work with me a little more so I directly asked if there was any more wiggle room with price negotiation. Over the phone he said, yes I will try and see what I can do. Once I returned that night, they couldn't/wouldn't adjusted the price at all because they said it was already too low. They gave me a free warranty for a year instead. The air conditioning went out four months later, but they fixed everything (all was covered under warranty) and changed my oil for free. I feel like they are fair and usually reasonably priced because I searched for months before I bought my SUV. More

first time buyer This was the first time I even walked into a car dealership and I wasn't expecting to come out with a car, but I did. Now, you can either rate that as This was the first time I even walked into a car dealership and I wasn't expecting to come out with a car, but I did. Now, you can either rate that as a good experience or bad, but I would say it was a good thing. I came across a deal I just couldn't resist with a car that was perfect. They even traded my car in for a decent price. My one pitfall and why I rate at 4 stars instead of 5: I wasn't looking for anything too fancy, but a lower priced car with hopefully some lower mileage on it. I didn't care if it was older or really what it looked like either. I had my price that I wanted to spend in mind. When first talking with the sales man, I told him my price I wanted to spend and he was saying there were lots of cars in that price range. I asked him how many miles were on a particular car and he said somewhere around 110,000. I said that was just a bit much and I'd like something with lower miles and he said, "then you need to spend more money." Ok, I understand maybe I couldn't find exactly what I wanted right away, but there are nicer ways of saying that and sounding less like your "average car salesman" looking to make money. "If you're looking for a little less mileage on a car, we may need to change your price range or talk about other options" - that would have made me feel much more comfortable. Overall, I had a good experience though and came out with a car I love. The salesmen were willing to go beyond and answer my 10 million questions in a lingo I, who knows nothing about cars, could understand. More

Very fair on priceing and quality worry free autos I recently went to schoepp motors in Middleton looking for a clean family sized suv. When I arrived there was a large selection to choose from. Every car or truck was very clean and fair prices compared to other dealerships in the Madison area. I ended up working with a great guy named Fritz! He was very understanding on our situation of trading in our beautiful audi S4 for some sort of 3rd row seat suv. After a test drive we decided we had made the wright choice and in a few hrs we were on our way! Their is a good chance we will be coming back to schoepp with in the next few months for our second! More

I already had a car that was good enough to get me around but I was open to upgrading to a better version. Donna and Patrick helped find the perfect car for me. Patrick consistently reached out to ensure my needs and wants were met. He listened to my preferences and found a car that had all I wanted and then some! Donna made sure the car was affordable for me. She worked to get me the best offer : my payments are as much as they were on my old vehicle, but this new one has low mileage and great additional features (heated seats, sunroof, push-to-start, you name it). I'm very happy with how easy the transition was and would recommend working with Patrick and Donna to anyone else in the market for a vehicle. More

We scheduled to meet on Saturday a.m. but I had to work. By the time I was able to get there, my first choice had sold, but Patrick found me a suitable substitute, with fewer miles but the options I wanted. He then gave me a great price, Then I met Donna McClearn who gave a good loan quick and painlessly. It was a pleasant experience for a guy that wants to get a car, not a bunch of B.S. No follow through. Blamed it on someone else. I called about a 2015 Corvette they had on the lot. Patrick was nice enough but just did not follow through to ensure my tight deadline to get the ca I called about a 2015 Corvette they had on the lot. Patrick was nice enough but just did not follow through to ensure my tight deadline to get the car would be met. He told me he would overnight the documents on Tuesday and I would get them on Wednesday. I told him this was a must or don't bother sending them (I had to work late Thursday and Friday). He told me Wednesday morning that the documents were indeed sent out. When 5:00 arrived and I had no documents, he made up some story about someone mixing up documents. When I called Tuesday to confirm that he did indeed send out the documents they told me he was off that day. You don't take off a day when you are selling a $50k car to a customer. Or if you do, you make sure you hand it off to a person that will get it done. He calls me Wednesday and told me I would have to documents on Thursday, which I told him I would not be home. I told him that I would not be able to get the documents back in time to ensure the car would arrive in time. Everyone kept saying should get it to me in time, but nobody would put it in writing. After I told him the deal was off, he said he could have a driver deliver the car and get it to me on time for less money. Hey Patrick, you should have mentioned this in our first conversation. But by the time he mentioned it, I was already pissed off as he did not do what he said he would do. So whoever dropped the ball and did not get the documents out on time, lost the sale. And get this....I received all the documents on Friday. Even a day later than he told me he would get them here. And even after I told him I was not buying the car. More
