Called dealer to inquire about adding the factory tow setup to my 2020 Grand Cherokee and was transferred to parts. The gentleman needed my vin number to verify if the Jeep had the proper wiring so he lo setup to my 2020 Grand Cherokee and was transferred to parts. The gentleman needed my vin number to verify if the Jeep had the proper wiring so he looked it up in the computer. His quote for parts and labor was $875, (WOW) he placed the order and sent me to service for apt. Made apt for 1:30 Friday, dropped it off at noon was told it would be ready at 5. Received a call at 2pm, was told it needed wiring, had somebody going to get it. The added cost was another $800! (WOW) At 5 pm the dealer closes, I got no call, I now have no transportation. Sat at 11AM I have to call them to find out what’s going on with my Jeep… Never again, 20 years, 6 or more purchases and it is the last one I purchase from them. Sad part is I paid a little more then I wanted but was ok with the decision due to other past treatment and what used to be a good service department. Best part of the experience was the shuttle driver that picked me up on Saturday. Car sales is the shortest part of ownership, the service could be an 8 year relationship, not in this case, more like a breakup. More
