Joe, Thank you so much for taking the time to actually respond to me. So many times people will leave a bad review just to leave one and haven't even had their car here. It has been such a challenge this last year with inventory shortages and such. Also GM has had an issue with their oil filters in the last 5 months where this is happening. I know it sounds crazy, but we still have to provide great customer service for our customers no matter what the situation. I would love to do something to get you to remove the 1 star review or actually change it to a 5 star for me. I can take care of your next oil change to reimburse you for the rental charge? Or whatever you see fit ? I would love to work something out that is fair for both of us. Please let me know Thanks, Barry

Hi there, I normally do not complain about stuff, but I really felt like the lady that checked me in was absolutely rude to me and my wife. We drove up from Purcell and was greeted with a grumpy face. I brought my truck in because it started leaking oil. Didn’t know if it was a big problem or little one. At that time my truck only had about 6200 miles on it. I had asked for a loner truck/car and was told, No they didn’t do that. Never offered a rental car until I told them that when I bought my truck y’all really pridefully boasted that any service I had done I was to get a loner or rental. So finally they set up a rental for me. Later on that evening I got a call and was told my truck was done and that oil filter was loose. Then she proceeded to tell me it was covered and David Stanley is NOT PAYING for rental or the hour SERVICE they performed on my truck. That flooded me! I went the following day to pick up my truck and the lady again was grumpy and totally RUDE as she took me to pay for services. I was not charged for tightening the oil filter, but was stuck paying for the rental car. It was the worst service I’ve every had anywhere and left a sour taste in my mouth for David Stanley Chevrolet. Hope that helps. Joe Branco

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Unfortunately GM has had a bad run of oil filters recently. It seems that the seal that they were manufactured with is a little different from what we are seeing and causing it to expand with heat then shrink back down and over about 2,000 miles into a fresh oil change the oil filter loosens off just a little bit enough for it to leak oil. I do apologize for any inconvenience and would be glad to offer a clean up of your vehicle at anytime for the inconvenience. As of right now GM is still working to resolve the issue.
