My wife and I recently worked with Paul Lai on a new 2012 GL 450. Our experience with Paul was superior. When it came to price, Paul was transparent and was empowered to negotiate with us directly at his desk. We walked away from our initial encounter wanting to do business with Paul, but felt we owed it to ourselves to visit at least one more dealer. After seeing Paul we went to a very high-volume dealer ~30 miles north of Princeton MB. Our experience could not have been more different that the one we had with Paul. The negotiation process long and drawn out with multiple visits to the Manager's desk. The sales person seemed much more focused on telling us what the market was like rather than listening to our needs. During his last visit to the Manager, my wife and I agreed that we would return to Princeton MB and do the deal with Paul - even if this dealer's price was better. Fortunately the bigger dealer's final price was still higher than Paul's. We happily closed the deal with Paul and continued to receive the same level of personalized, warm service that we appreciate. I cannot say enough about Paul and the experience we had a Mercedes Benz of Princeton. I suspect we will be customers for life. More
