Full disclosure I recently purchased a GMC Terrain from this dealership, I thought I had a pretty good rapport with my salesman Paul, until about a week later I was o I recently purchased a GMC Terrain from this dealership, I thought I had a pretty good rapport with my salesman Paul, until about a week later I was opening my drivers side backdoor and noticed a large bead of rust along the inside bottom of the door. I am a stickler for CARFAX and I looked it over closely and there was no indication there was a problem with the vehicle. I have a friend in the business and I showed him the door and he was shocked NOBODY mentioned this to me either by the salesman or the people detailing the car. I know this car was a lease because I saw the CARFAX, and I'm fully aware how they check these vehicles when the lease is over, and I'm sure they charged this person for the rust area. Upon further inspection we noticed the whole inside door panel and adjacent door jam has been re-painted , same color not same gloss level. Believe me I know I should have gone over this vehicle with a fine tooth comb, but this is a $22,000 vehicle with 30,00 miles not exactly winter beater. If the CARFAX is the bible here to sell cars lets try to be a little up front with the true facts. I truly feel they knew about the door and the re-paint because I NEVER received 1 text or email asking how I like my car.... I had a true professional repair the area. I have pictures of before and after. More
