I will have to say that working with Paul Mazza and the finance personel was just fine. My experience with Brian Howe was completely unsatisfactory. He first agreed to give me 3 months no payments and a re finance personel was just fine. My experience with Brian Howe was completely unsatisfactory. He first agreed to give me 3 months no payments and a rental car for the time I would be without a vehicle. My husband is deployed and we must transfer to Hawaii. So we will be without a vehcile while our new one is shipped out. They also promised me it would be certified. Then at the end of the negoatiation we went over our agreement in the finance department. They did not put the certified portion down or the rental car or the three months no payments. He said "oh you wanted all that still"? Of course I have three children and am with out my husband for six months why wouldn't I need a vehcile while this new one is being shipped. The other problem he never returned my calls. I spent 5 1/2 hours at this dealership finalizing this deal and they did not have all their ducks in a row. I've never had this type of experience at a dealership. Further more I asked if the vehicle had been protected with the cloth protectant and it was they said they would ask the previous owner if they would transfer it and they never asked. I traded two vehicles in One vehicle was worth $14,000-$14,500 and due to a previous accident they only offered me $11,000. They said it was no longer worth $14,500. So I went to the insurance comapny who was at fault and they requested I get a letter from Gates to show that it had depriciated. They said it depricated only $1,000.00 now. So that only brings it to $12,000. So Gates Cheated me out of $2,000. I really should have received $13,500 for my trade in from them since they now say my car only depreciated by $1,000. So while my husband serves so Brian doesn't have to be drafted he can live with himself and be Scandalous. Again I was happy with Paul Mazza and the finance department, but the sales mangager representing this company is unsatisfactory to represent this company. If roles were reversed and his wife and children were in my shoes I think he would think a little harder about it and want the same that I am requesting. I would never again buy another vehicle from this company. I have purchased 6 vehicles from dealerships and I have never once had this happen to me. I have never been promised something and they try to cheat me out of our agreement. I consequently have a bad taste in my mouth from this experience and can't wait to see what happens when I go in to try to claim my rental car they promised me. Maybe the next customer will have a better experience, I only wish the best of luck. I've never once in mylife wrote negatively about a company, but I felt something needed to be said for this. More

Just an overall great experience at Gates! Our salesman, Paul Mazza really went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. My husband and I went in looking for a used Chevy Cobalt that I saw on the websit Paul Mazza really went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. My husband and I went in looking for a used Chevy Cobalt that I saw on the website. It sold before we got there, so Paul drove us to their sister dealership, Premier Chevrolet in Booklyn to find another one. They had a 2007 Chevy Cobalt with only 47,000 miles on it and it was exactly what I wanted. He let me drive the car on the way back to Gates, so I got a really good test drive out of it. Since we went in on a Saturday, they couldn't get in touch with the bank to set up our financing, so we had to go back on Monday to finish the paperwork. But Paul said my trade-in was too dangerous to drive because it had bald tires and he didn't feel comfortable sending me home with it, so they hunted down a set of dealer plates to put on the cobalt and let me take it home for the weekend. My husband and I really appreciated Paul's concern for our safety and were so glad we got to take the car for the weekend. Paul made sure I was comfortable with the car before we took it home for good on Monday, and asked if there was anything he could show me how to use. Nick, the finance manager was wonderful to work with too. He really worked hard to make sure that our payments were within a comfortable range for us and he got us great rate! I also have to mention Joe Orgo, who was great to chat with. When we got there, Paul was with another customer, so Joe let us sit at his desk while we were waiting and helped us get started on the paperwork for my trade-in. I had such a great experience overall at Gates. Their customer service is fantastic and I couldn't have asked for a better deal on my new car! More

When I bought the Nissan, I agreed the final price including extra charges with sales manager. However, when I made signature the contract, I paid $75 more then the agreed price. Attitude of the person who deals financing was not good for customer, I don't want to buy Nissan car at GATES NISSAN any more, even though the nissan car is good. After making signature the contract and 10 days later, I be asked to pay $25 more. The money have to be paid by dealer. Also when the dealer ordered accessories for my car, he told me the accessories was delivered within several day. However, I did not received any contact about this from GATES NISSAN for 1 week. More
