Our experience at Wantagh Mazda was great. We were researching car prices and Wantagh had one of the better overall prices for the model we were looking at; we read a lot of good reviews about the dea researching car prices and Wantagh had one of the better overall prices for the model we were looking at; we read a lot of good reviews about the dealership. The experience was friendly, relaxed and no-pressure. Phil answered all our questions and gave us lots of space to think and discuss between ourselves. He was very patient (we came back a second time in the afternoon), helpful and upfront. The entire staff was great, actually. We weren't shown anything we didn't ask for nor pressured to buy more than we were interested in. It felt like they were there to help us buy the car we needed, not make money off us.We would definitely buy another car from them again and we are recommending Phil to our friends. More

I have been going to Wantagh Dealership for the past 9 years. This is my third leased car from them. Though I enjoy the idea of car shopping (looking at new cars and getting the chance to try out and experience them) it's the idea of the grind and the hustle that I generally dread. If I find a dealership that I like, that works well with me, and doesn't give the high pressure sale I'll tend to gravitate to that dealership, and dealer in particular. I honestly can't speak enough praises about Phil and Wantagh Mazda. Specifically, here's why. I only dealt with Phil. I've had it happen at other dealers where I would spend hours with a salesman going through the car, the deal, and finally settling on a price only be handed off to the dreaded "second guy." He would try and tack on more costs and fees onto the price that I had spent time working on. Phil didn't do that. I only dealt with him and the price he quoted me on day one was the price I paid, no gimmicks or tricks. He showed me exactly where the cost came from and was upfront and honest the whole time. I never felt like he was trying to pull one over on me. When I needed something answered Phil spent the time to look it up and get back to me. This is important. I understood that he had other customers but he also understood that for me to be a content customer I needed to feel that all of my questions were answered. All in all, I was quite content with the level of detail and personal service that I received, both at the dealership and when I was away and speaking with him over the phone. He didn't just throw me the keys and say good luck. He made sure that I understood all of the features of the car before I drove away. He made sure I was content with the color and he made sure that I chose the right car for me. If I had asked for more time he would have given it to me. In other words when he was working with me, he was working with me. And conversely, when I called and he was working with someone else he told me he'd call me back and he did but he worked with the customer he was with. I respect that and wouldn't want it any other way. One other thing that impressed me was that when I went in to finalize the car he asked me if I wanted to drive it again. He knew I was coming to get the car yet he still asked. I know it may seem small, but to me it's those small things that differentiate the tiers of dealers and Wantagh Mazda is the best I've dealt with thus far. All in all, I never felt rushed or pressured. He took his time and was upfront, not waiting with some phantom deal in the back in case I walked out the door. And the price I was told was what I paid, no hidden anything at the end. Phil was honest, friendly, and fair. I am very glad I went there and I know I'll be there again for my next car. Thanks Phil. Phil is an exceptional salesperson. He is very knowledgeable and did not rush us. He encouraged us to test drive the cars we were interested in.
