Our appointment was right after I got off work and my kids hadn't eaten yet. So we picked up some food and were just going to quickly eat it in their lobby (young boys 3 and 1) Brad and Phil told us to come on in, Phil completely cleared off one of his tables in his office so my wife and boys could eat while we did paperwork. Brad even went and got them forks and napkins. Very very accommodating the entire time. Phil was so patient as well, my 3 year old terrorized his desk and Phil didn't bat an eye, they both loved it. I was given more for my trade than anywhere else and also found the best price on an Equinox that I could find. I searched auto trader for a similar Equinox within a 300 mile radius, there were no matches. Tim, the sales manager has always treated me very well, he has always been patient with my pickiness and knows that I am a savvy buyer and doesn't mess with the numbers at all. I will never buy another vehicle from another dealership after this past experience. Everything, everyone was great. More

This is the second Prius we have bought here and our daughter also bought her Prius here. We worked with Phil Wieneke each time. I worked with Phil, if Phil were at any dealership I would recommend HIM to anyone. Phil is a great guy and so are many of the people who work there, such as Wendy and Kurt, also amazing when helping my would recommend HIM to anyone. Phil has done everything in his power to help As far as Toyota, I have become disappointed after being with them for 4 years and several cars in. This last purchase was not a Toyota and I see now how the deal with used cars. I purchased my car at the end of July and started having problems with it, it is now 5 months later and I couldn't have a bigger regret than purchasing this car. I have tried contacting several higher up and nobody has ever contacted me back. I feel as though I was handed a problem car and Toyota knew it. My warranty hasn't covered much as well, and I would have been nice if they would do a little more beside, keep telling me it was my fault. I was not happy with the service department because simply when I would call them they would never call me back they would call and talk to my husband instead, as a woman I found that very degrading and disrespectful that they didn't feel the need to fill me in on MY vehicle. Before I went trough all of this I recommended Toyota to many friends and family, however after his I don't believe I will because if I don't want them to feel the same way or run into a problem car. Not to mention I contacted the Toyota 1800 number and even they contacted Toyota and said someone would get back to me to fix my concerns.... it never happened. Like I said I would recommend the people I worked with any day they are great, people and I understand they only can do so much in their positions.... as far as Toyota itself if this is how they handle loyal costumers it says a lot for the owner and their lack of concern for those who purchase used car from this lot. More

After an accident, we suddenly needed to shop for a new car. We needed a vehicle within a week but did not know what type of vehicle to buy. We test drove over 12 different models at 7 dealers. Through the entire process, working with Phil was by far the best experience. He answered our questions and was very patient as we tried cars, hybrids and cross-overs. Phil has just the right amount of follow-up, gave us honest answers to all our questions - even when we were talking about our comparables, and was just great to work with. Phil spent an hour with us after the car purchase to make sure we understood everything. An added bonus, we have 2 kids age 7 and 9 and Toyota has a great waiting room for them. Our kids spent a total of 5 hours over the week in their waiting room and actually enjoyed it. When we went on test drives, Phil was great with our kids. If you are looking for a Toyota or Volkswagen, I would definitely start with Phil. Even if you are not, I would start with Phil. He will work with you over email too if that is more convenient. More

I tried purchasing locally here in the Chicago but the dealerships that I dealt with were vague and insistent that I bring my trade-in to them before they would discuss possible numbers. Phil, on the other hand, worked with me through photos and trust. I knew what I wanted and he made it happen. Cedar Rapids Toyota and Phil Wieneke DELIVERED my truck to me (twice) at my home. All the paperwork was completed and the transaction went smoothly. This did not cost me extra!! If you are considering a Toyota don't discount this dealership even if you live in another state. Honestly I only rated Phil a 5 because that's as high as your system goes. I've purchased A LOT of cars in my time and working with Phil was quite possibly the least painless and easiest transaction I've as your system goes. I've purchased A LOT of cars in my time and working with Phil was quite possibly the least painless and easiest transaction I've ever had. He didn't give me any sales hype, just answered my questions and let me make the decision. I have two friends who are considering purchasing a new vehicle and I will without a doubt let them know about my experience with CR Toyota and Phil in particular. I tried working with Toyota of Des Moines and Wilson in Ames and they could both learn a few things from how CRT does business. I will definitely be back. More
