Terribly disappointed with Carlton Motor Cars of Greenville, SC. We purchased a GLS450 in June of 2024, and had many issues with the car of the next 25 months we owed it. The disappointments comes from significant lack of Service Dept expertise and lack of ability to fix our car, even thought the faults were safety related. This dealership had our car more of 2026 than we did, and ~200 days since new. Never fixed the car! The service manager, Doug Urban, told us he had no plan to fix our defective vehicle. And he said this having no care that the vehicle was worthless until it was repaired. Lastly, I contacted the General Manager, Matt Scoggins, at least 3 times to get him involved in the service of my car. Matt was emailed and called 3 times, and never responded to any of my requests. He couldn't even reply to a customer who purchased a $100K car from his dealership. Very poor customer service and very inappropriate behavior of him. My advice ... never buy a car there, or you should expect the same lack of ability and customer experience that I had. More

We stopped in while looking at some other cars in the area. Phillip showed us a beautiful certified GLC 300 that was in our price range. It was a 2018 that looked brand new.
