Decent car, frustrating experience I purchased a pre-owned Honda Odyssey at Town & Country in late January. A young, new salesman named Joe sold me the vehicle. I got a good vehicle at I purchased a pre-owned Honda Odyssey at Town & Country in late January. A young, new salesman named Joe sold me the vehicle. I got a good vehicle at a decent price, and Joe was a friendly guy. Those are the upside. I was less than pleased with my experience for the following reasons: 1) Misinformation in the online ad. I always do my homework before car shopping. I had a printed ad with the listed price in hand when I arrived. [I had also corresponded with the internet department prior to going, just to make sure the listed price was accurate. They said it was. I also asked them what the delivery fees were, but they would not tell me.] When I arrived and completed the test drive and was ready to make a deal, Joe told me that the purchase price was going to be $1000 more than what was published. The reason, he claimed, was that I was going to pay cash rather than use their financing program. He went through the whole "talk to my sales manager" routine several times before the sales manager would actually come out and try to explain to me why the advertised price would not apply. The best he could do was charge me $500 more than the advertised price. Then, of course, were the dealer fees, which added close to $2000 more. I went home to talk it over with my wife before deciding. I was still getting a relatively good deal, so I went ahead. 2) Inconsiderate of customers' time. When I returned for the purchase, with my wife--who had to make special childcare arrangements to make the 1-hour drive (one-way) in order to come sign--we sat down with the business manager, Chang, to go through the mandatory speech about extended warranties. We finally got to the point of signing paperwork with him, at which point he assured me they had all the needed signatures from my wife, so that she could go and relieve the babysitter. I continued to wait approximately 2 more hours before they would let me see and sign the final documents. I finally left with my vehicle. Two weeks later, Joe the salesman called to say that they needed my wife to drive the 2-hour round trip again to come sign the DMV paperwork. Despite the frustration (time is money), we had no choice but for her to return and sign. 3) Failure to take care of basic problems on pre-owned vehicle. During my pre-purchase inspection I discovered that the right, rear tire had low pressure and in fact had a nail stuck in it. Moreover, one windshield wiper blade was completely worn out. I had to argue extensively for the salespeople to say they would patch the tire and replace the wiper blade on a car I was spending $22K for! They ended up promising that they would. But the first time we drove in the rain after getting home, the wiper blade showed itself to be no newer than when I first saw it. And within about 2 weeks, the right rear tire was low on air again. Whatever they may have done, it wasn't what they said they would do. But at this point I would rather fix the problems myself than drive 2 hours and have to wait hours again. Buyer beware. More

Had to call the police on them! Wish I could give a lower rating. Went in on a Sunday to look at a vehicle I liked. Was told the finance department wasn’t in on Sundays, but I was told by Chris the sales rep that I would receive a call from the finance department the next day, the additional dealer fees were much higher than what we’d been quoted at other dealerships, but I liked the vehicle and they assured me not to worry they would meet or be ‘very close to’ the rate we wanted and monthly payment so we paid the deposit. We did not receive a call on Monday or Tuesday despite reaching out multiple times. We finally received a call on Wednesday from Chris with a much higher finance rate than what other banks had quoted us and still weren’t being given a monthly payment despite asking for it in writing as well as over the phone. We were also denied multiple requests to speak to the finance department directly. However, we were assured by our sales rep that we would receive our deposit back if we decided not to take the car. When I arrived for the appointment to pick up the car the sales rep did not recognize me and began complaining about me right in front of me to the manager and also said he had other people looking at the car (despite us having paperwork signed already to purchase the vehicle) so I asked for my deposit back and was told that I would have to come back to pick up a check the next day even though we paid the deposit in cash. I refused to leave without my deposit as there is another review on Yelp from a woman who’s been waiting close to a month to get her deposit back from them which I told them. When I asked why they couldn’t cut a check that day if they didn’t have cash on hand they said it takes a few days and I probably wouldn’t get a check back until the following week. They then threatened to sue me if I said anything bad online about them. The manager then continued to threaten me, blasted Music, made inappropriate winks and faces at me then began to snap pictures of me on his cell phone. At that point I called the police as I felt unsafe. Police made him guarantee the refund or they will be returning. Don’t give them your money. There was one nice staff person Daniel there who tried to check to see if I was ok, but he was yelled at by the manager Joe for even speaking to me. He should go work for a different dealership, he’s too nice for this place. I am not the first person on this page who has had to write a review about having a deposit or finance rates scammed like this. More

Over the weekend we had the car looked at by our mechanic and he said car was excellent but the 2 rear tires were near bald. On Sunday took it to a tire place and they confirmed what first mechanic said which was the tires were at .2mm of tread life. Both places said they wouldn't have passed the car in inspection because of this. On Monday I reached out to dealer and was told a manager would call me. On Thursday I still had not heard back from dealer so I called. Manger told me to bad we can't do anything for you. He also said both places just wanted to sell me tires. Never once said why don't you bring it in so we could check it out. I would just say be very careful. NO Customer service exists at this dealership. Manager wouldn't even share his name. In all my years of buying cars at dealerships this was by far the WORST. More

Look out for Valarie Boccia she is a very dishonest person. Don't believe anything she tell you. I called her to cancel a service contract 7 days after I purchased it, and she gave me some BS that I cannot cancel it because according to her I signed a document stating that the service contract cannot be cancelled. REALLY? After calling her out.on her lies, she never returned any of my calls. I am still waiting for a full refund to be credited to my loan. More
