My Local Garage Knew Better.. I took my mini to a local garage to have the inspection completed. They informed me that the Body Control Module needed to be programmed by the Mini D I took my mini to a local garage to have the inspection completed. They informed me that the Body Control Module needed to be programmed by the Mini Dealer, as only they have the equipment to do this. We live in Lancaster, PA - and our local dealer is over an hour drive away. So, my wife and I took the trek in two cars so we could get home, once to drive there, and once to pick it up. The dealer texted me the quote, which is fine, but no Body Control Module was mentioned, only a bulb was blown and I needed an 02 sensor fixed. My local garage told me the BCM is the reason my bulb was out, but i trusted that a MINI dealer would know what they're talking about. They replaced the bulb, and again I trusted them after a day at work, and drove home thinking all would be good. At home, I realized the bulb still does not work. I changed the bulb myself, still does not work. I was charged $250 to replace this bulb that costs a fraction of that, and literally takes 20 seconds to fix. I also had them replace the 02 sensor for an additional $400 while they were at it. The car is not worth the effort that i'm now putting into it to fix. So, instead of just replacing it (which i would have done if they had quoted me an actual BCM replacement), I spent $700 and 2 evenings getting my car to these guys. I called customer service, and the receptionist asked if she could answer my question. As i started speaking, she rudely interrupted me with no explanation and put me on hold. I put down the phone and i'm getting a new car, i'm sure their 'solution' would be to have me drive all the way down there again to take a look at it - not interested in wasting my time. More

Love working with Preston! I have been an Otto's customer for many years now with one reason being the superior service my car receives. Preston is top notch because he is friendly, efficient and always provides me with all the information I need to make good quality decisions about my car (plus he even laughs at my jokes!). Even though the new (old) location is a bit longer for me to drive, I will continue to bring my Mini to the experts at Otto's! More

Oil change and New Tires Continually blown away by the professionalism, hospitality, and quality that Otto's Mini provides. Went in for an oil change and to have two new tires put on. They kept me updated through out the whole process and where incredibly quick and efficient. It's weird to say but always a pleasure to have to bring my car in for service with Otto's Mini Family! Thank you Preston for all you do to make the Mini ownership experience an enjoyable one. More

Sceduled and unexpected maintenance I have been using Otto's MINI since I bought my car in 2011. The staff have always been attentive and friendly. Otto's Mini has been nothing short of amazing Since my first experience with Otto's, I have been hooked. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Most of the time I show up in my lazy day clothing, feeling a little underdressed at a beautiful dealership, but I have never once felt like I am any less important than the "well dressed" customer sitting next to me. They go above and beyond what they need to. I live an hour and a half away and still recommend Otto's to everyone I know! More

The sole Mini service guy, Preston, was very pleasant but is clearly overburdened. I really don't have a gripe about him other than the text saying my car was ready went to a land line. The cell was clearly stated on the service record. It took an extra day and two calls along with some insistence to get a person to tell me the car was ready. All this can be corrected when proper staffing is resumed after the move is fully implemented. Most significantly, the pleasant, service oriented treatment at old Mini was completely lacking. At dropping off I was left standing in the drop off zone for 10+/- minutes with no seating area or attention paid. The same occurred during pick up, although the attentive checkout gal did point out a refreshment stand. You have a ways to go to make the costumer feel as valued as was flawlessly the case at old Mini in Exton. More
