We drove from out of state to purchase a Subaru from Brandon Tomes. Car was supposed to be detailed, filled up, and ready to depart the lot as per our sales person. This was far from the actual truth. Brandon Tomes. Car was supposed to be detailed, filled up, and ready to depart the lot as per our sales person. This was far from the actual truth. Car was only half full on gas, line items from our window sticker were missing, and the car was not detailed as it had footprints on the rear passenger floor mats. We had to essentially guide our sales person through the process, and everything had to be run through his manager causing time delays on a long day of driving to Mckinney and back home. The only part of the process that went as promised was the finance team. They had done their homework, collected our information, and had everything ready to go when we walked into the room. Price wise, they were very willing to compete, but buyer beware - they offered us a discount only to reclaim it with dealer add-ons. We argued the point, and they gave us most of the dealer add-ons at no cost. Typical car sales tactics. Luckily they are moving to a new location because their current dealership is cramped with little parking for you when you arrive. The sales team is constantly running out to move cars around. In the future, I will not look to purchase another Subaru from this dealership. It lacked the top-tier professionalism I've found at every other Subaru dealership I have ever been to across the country. Maybe when they move, things will improve, but for now I cannot recommend them to another Subaru buyer. If you want an easy Subaru buying experience, call Sangera Subaru in Bakersfield CA. They don't do sales tactics, they are super professional, they will show you everything and help you set up your new Subaru before you leave the lot. I would have purchased from them again if the drive home wasn't cost prohibitive. More
