I prefer fixed-price dealerships because the experience of negotiating the takeaway price is always a pain. In this case, I had to argue, repetitively, when the offer sheet added $2000 to my costs for a fa of negotiating the takeaway price is always a pain. In this case, I had to argue, repetitively, when the offer sheet added $2000 to my costs for a fabricated reason. Also, part of the transaction involved a CPO car that I returned after three days because the breaks were a problem from the start, an engine light went on at day three, and the window tinting was unsafely dark, especially at night which was unknowable based on a test drive during the day. Rance offered to make the car right but my expectation is that a CPO car should not have to be made right. I was concerned about reliability, obviously. That said, I love the car that I ended up with and will most likely buy another Audi. This car is our fourth Audi. I would like to single out Steve Catalo as especially helpful and a pleasure to work with. Great communication. Friendly. More
