Words can’t express how happy I am with my new vehicle. Ray jando is the man to see. My wife and I loved him. So genuine and not even pressured us. Made it very relaxed and that’s why I bought the vehicle. Ray jando is the man to see. My wife and I loved him. So genuine and not even pressured us. Zeigler Auto We went to Zeigler Automotive / Zeigler Buick GMC at 6900 N McCormick Blvd Lincolnwood, IL 60712 www.ZeiglerGMCBuick.com on 8-20-22 to purchase a vehicle. We spoke to the internet salesper Buick GMC at 6900 N McCormick Blvd Lincolnwood, IL 60712 www.ZeiglerGMCBuick.com on 8-20-22 to purchase a vehicle. We spoke to the internet salesperson (Dominique Deleon) through email (signed by Ahvai Taylor) and on the phone. We confirmed availability and the price. The price was also listed on the internet. We then scheduled an appointment to come in, look at the vehicle, test drive it and discuss the terms. The salesperson we dealt with was Ray Jando. We liked the vehicle, a used 2019 Buick Envision., so we wanted to proceed and purchase it. Filled out a credit application and it came back as approved but for a ridiculously high payment amount. I asked to see a breakdown as the payment amount did not make any sense. The salesman (Ray Jando) brought back a breakdown and there was an additional $9k in “mandatory fees” added in. They were listed as “reconditioning” and “CPO”. The vehicle definitely wasn’t reconditioned as the interior was filthy and needed a detailing. Any dealership I’ve purchased from the the past always had the cars detailed and clean before delivery. The reconditioning listed on the breakdown was $4k. The vehicle was also not CPO. It mentioned it nowhere in the advertisement anywhere and the salesperson said that we could get it CPO if we wanted to for about $3k, but it wasn’t worth it because you can get an extended warranty with better coverage for less. The CPO cost listed on the breakdown was $5k. We told them that we were declining these extras and would purchase the vehicle as the listed and advertised price. We were then told that we couldn’t and were required to get the $9k in “add-ons”. The salesperson (Ray Jando) admitted that he knew the extra fees were BS, but there was nothing he could do about it. I then took the breakdown and wanted to take a picture of it and the salesperson (Ray Jando) ripped it out of my hands and folded it up and told me that I couldn’t do that. He then had the sales manager come out to talk to us. He was very rude and pompous. He told us that he had another offer on the vehicle, but we could place a bid on it and if the bid beat the other offer, we could have it. I told him I’d be willing to pay the listed price. He said it was impossible and that we had no choice but to pay the $9k in fees. He said he already started the CPO process and he couldn’t stop it, which was just more BS. We were getting up to walk out and he stopped us and said “let me see if I can do anything”. We waited a few minutes and he came back offering approximately $1500 off of the $9k “extra fee”. We said no thank you and just left. We wasted several hours on Saturday for no reason at all. It was an hour drive each way plus the 2 hours we wasted in the dealership. While we were sitting there getting screwed around, I text the internet manager (Dominique Deleon) that we had been talking to and setting the appointment with asking what is going on with all of this nonsense and she never replied at all. She replied several times up to the minute we got to the dealership no problem. I’ve never been so disgusted and disappointed with a car dealership in my life. To add insult to injury, about an hour after we left, TrueCar emailed me letting me know that the price of the car was just reduced by $367. Why in the world would that happen if they had other offers and deposits on the vehicle?? Just proved that the staff was just lying to us the entire time. I would never give that dealership or any of their other dealerships my money or recommendation at all. I’d highly recommended everyone stay away from them unless you want to get ripped off!! Just received another email today, 9-2-22 from TrueCar saying the car is still available and the price dropped another $321. The link to the dealer website confirms the vehicle is still available at the new and reduced price and mentions nothing about the CPO process being performed and any extra 5k fee for being CPO or a $4k Reconditioning fee. I contacted Buick and confirmed the car is not CPO and there is no “pending processing” like we were told. What a terrible unethical dealership!! More
