Dear Service Manager, I am writing to formally document a complaint regarding the poor level of service I experienced at Van Chevrolet, 8585 E Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. On my recent servive, I brought in my 2019 Ford Ranger (VIN: 1FTER4EH4KLB08978) due to persistent hard shifting in the transmission. This is a documented issue on this vehicle and is covered under my Mechanical Protection Plan (MPP). Unfortunately, I was informed by your service advisor, Jesus, that your dealership would require me to leave the vehicle for three days just to perform a diagnosis, and that no loaner vehicle or transportation support would be provided. This is unreasonable and unacceptable, as I rely on my vehicle for daily transportation. I purchased extended warranty protection and service coverage through your dealership in good faith, with the expectation that warranty claims would be handled promptly and fairly. Instead, I was left without support and effectively denied service. My Requests: 1. Immediate diagnosis and repair of my transmission issue under my warranty plan. 2. Provision of a loaner or rental vehicle while my truck is under diagnosis/repair. 3. Written clarification of your dealership’s policy regarding warranty-covered vehicle repairs and customer transportation assistance. If this matter is not resolved, I will escalate by filing a complaint with: • Chevrolet / GM Corporate • BBB AutoLine • Arizona Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Office I value my investment and expect better treatment as a customer.
