First time going for a diagnostic check and oil change. Told Richard I was waiting for the car (appt was at 8 am) 1.5 hours later, I decided to find out as others were going in and out that came in after Told Richard I was waiting for the car (appt was at 8 am) 1.5 hours later, I decided to find out as others were going in and out that came in after me. Tech was going over the report. Told Richard that was mine. He tells me he will have the paperwork completed in 20-30 minutes. I received an EMAIL that my car was ready? Really, they knew I was in their waiting room. Tech "assumed" needed a part because of the area noise was coming from. It was replaced 2 months ago. When I told him this, he shrugged and told me "it must not have been a reliable Volvo dealer. WRONG it is for YEARS. (only reason I came here because my "volvo mechanic dealer" is ill and recommended them). Tried rushing me out the door w/o explaining huge bill estimate bill $2200 as the cashier told me the bill for oil change ONLY. I asked for some detail and Richard rushed through it as I had to stop and have him go back over what he zipped through. He didn't even complete the estimate because he "assumed" I was NOT having it done. I asked to have it completed told me he would have it by the next AM. REALLY? After me huffing loudly, I received it within a couple of hours DOUBLE the price. BTW.....$158 oil change. Tried to play it off that it was 8 "synthetic" oil told them I had NEVER paid more than $65-$70. They added an additional $30 for labor. NEVER NEVER NEVER. More
