Painless We needed a new car for my wife because hers was over 12 years old and the upkeep was becoming too costly. We didn't think a new vehicle was in our bu We needed a new car for my wife because hers was over 12 years old and the upkeep was becoming too costly. We didn't think a new vehicle was in our budget so pre owned was the choice for us. To be perfectly honest, I felt CarMax might be the best option because the price is not negotiable. Most times when purchasing a used car I have always felt that I didn't get the best price and I probably left money on the table. Buyers remorse is something I wanted to avoid at all costs. Going in we had researched the cars we were interested in and knew the asking prices. Matt was great. He asked the right questions and showed us the vehicles we had expressed interest in. The negotiation was quick and painless. We left with a car my wife loves and what I believe was a fair price. Sunrise and specifically Matt made this purchase a pleasure. Rick in finance was also able to get us a phenomenal interest rate @1.9% for a period longer than the maximum of 36 months based on our credit report. This was not something he had to offer as we were already buying the vehicle regardless. That's going above and beyond. Do you think we have already told our friends and family about our experience? HAPPY WIFE - HAPPY LIFE OPENING COMMENTS I was looking for mid-size car that fits my wife “car size” criteria.. She wanted Toyota’s or Honda’s, since those were the makes of OPENING COMMENTS I was looking for mid-size car that fits my wife “car size” criteria.. She wanted Toyota’s or Honda’s, since those were the makes of cars we owned previously. I joined COSTCO a month ago, and they had a flyer which indicated a joint promotion between COSTCO & the GM HOLIDAY Promotion. So, I said to myself “What the heck! Let’s add a Malibu to the mix”. To be honest, the spouse was not crazy about my choice of adding Chevrolet to the “research pile”, mainly because of her unfamiliarity. Well, when you read the verbiage below, I guess you can tell what happened! The Sales Guy (Luciano “PRIMO” Garcia) 1. The Purchase Experience: Primo was amazing, friendly, helpful, a great listener, and an unbelievable hard worker on my behalf, trying to match a car to my preferred features, color & pricing range. 2. The Negotiation Experience: I was very happy with the COSTCO/GM Promotional deal on the new car (2018 MALIBU LT). But when you add the TRADE-IN of TWO cars to the mix, it gets a little complicated! Don’t you think? That’s the part which requires a little “back & forth” with the Sales Team. In this case, Primo (the sales guy) indicated to me that he was the “CUSTOMER ADVOCATE” on my behalf. So, he took my counter proposals back to the Sales Manager a few times. And we came to a WIN-WIN situation, where the Customer & Dealership were both happy with deal. So, let me acknowledge & thank the New Car Sales Manager (Brian Kurtz) for his part in this equation. 3. The Delivery Experience (of the new car): This was the BEST delivery experience of the dozens of cars I have bought in my lifetime. At Sunrise Chevrolet, the car is brought inside the showroom, and my sales guy (PRIMO) patiently explained all the important stuff of the car, including the safety features, how to start the car remotely, including walking me through the “My Chevrolet App”, setting up the ONSTAR registration, filling out all the COSTCO paperwork, so that I am able to collect an additional $750 from Costco as a “COSTCO Gift Card”. Then Primo took me & my wife & gave us a tour of the Service Department, the Parts Department & the waiting room. I even saw an area where kids can play around, while the parents bring their car for an oil change & other service requests. Primo wanted a photo of him & us standing by the new 2018 Malibu. I was a little reluctant because my wife always photographs well, but I need to get makeover to look decent! Remember these two numbers 406 & 5-Star! Let me explain. As I write this review, I went to the Sunrise Chevrolet website, and I see that Primo has been tagged with reviews from 406 customers. And these reviews are all in the “5-Star” category. Wow! I’m honored to have had Primo assigned to me as my Sales Guy! The Finance Guy (Rick Macintosh) Rick is a young guy who is quite energetic, personable and full of vim & vigor! Just standing next to him, you almost want to do 50 push-ups! Anyhow, Rick did our finance paperwork very quickly. It was a very pleasant experience. The General Manager (Dan Kurtz) Primo’s (my Sales Guy) cubicle is right next to Dan’s office. Dan was nice enough to invite me to his office. It’s obvious that Sunrise Chevrolet does things right. Here are some of the accolades that this dealership received, based on what I saw in Dan’s office. (i) Six-time recipient of Chevy’s exclusive Mark Of Excellence (ii) Voted one of the Top 100 Best Car Dealerships to Work For by Automative News, 4 out of the last 5 years. This was very impressive, since there are 17,500 dealerships in the U.S. (iii) Dealer Rater’s 2017 Consumer Satisfaction Award (iv) Edmunds 5 -star Dealer Award. Closing Comments At the top of review, I indicated that my wife was not thrilled that I was adding the Chevrolet product to the list of cars (from Toyota & Honda) that I was researching. Someone asked my wife if she liked the 2018 Malibu, now that we own one. I listened nervously for the answer. She responded “I like this car”. So, let me end this review with this comment “HAPPY WIFE! HAPPY LIFE! More

Words can't describe the wonderful experience that I had. I was not sure that I was going to buy a new car as I had an Impala that was 4 and a half years old and only had 55000 miles on it and still looked gr I was not sure that I was going to buy a new car as I had an Impala that was 4 and a half years old and only had 55000 miles on it and still looked great and I had an LT model but wanted to upgrade to premier model but was not sure as I didn't want to pay more than I was. I saw the 20% off and gave Primo a call right away and he advised that he was thinking of me but didn't want to call and force me into a sale and I value things like that as they are never pushy at this dealer. I have been buying cars from this dealer since 2003 and no matter if I am buying a car or just there for service they treat me as family each and every time I am there. I was greeted by finance , a number of salesman, and service. They worked hard to get me a payment that I wanted and went above and beyond to make the numbers work and they were able to get me extended warranty, gap insurance and paint protector all for a payment that was lower than I was paying on the old car. During the whole transaction they were friendly, assuring, and advised a number of times if I was sure that I wanted to purchase new car as this can be stressful and that made me feel good that I was not being forced to buy that they would be fine if I purchased or just waited. I couldn't be more happy with the car I purchased. Primo knew the car inside and out and was helpful and knew of all discounts and promotions that I qualified for and made this process smooth and easy. Rick in finance was awesome and worked the deal perfect and made me feel like a valued customer. After the transaction everyone in the dealer from service to the front desk clerk congratulated me on my purchase and to me that is awesome. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone on the market for a new car. More
