New purchase This is my 4th Honda from this dealership. I was in an accident when a deer hit my car right before Christmas. My CRV kept me safe and performed exactly like I was told it would. However, I needed another vehicle as mine was totaled. I knew that one phone call to Rick at Dover Honda that I'd have one less issue and another safe vehicle. When I walked in, i was greeted by Rick with a "glad you are okay". This place feels like family every time I go in. Rick is honest and kind and considerate. He listens to what my needs are and puts me in a vehicle accordingly. I also always see Chris and Sue who are on the sales team and always greet me happily. I cannot say enough about the service department as well. There are many places to purchase a new Honda but this company is by far the best in the area!! Thanks again Honda family and happy 2017!! However, having just purchased my third new Honda CR V EX through Rick Stern of Dover Honda, I am delighted to report that I am able to write and express my profound thanks to a true professional salesman, one who not only appreciates a client, but also respects that client, and truly goes above and beyond normal sales efforts to insure that his client is treated to a stress free sales environment. Rick Stern actually is paid by the dealership ( no surprise there), so he must protect his employers, however, he is also aware that he must compromise somewhat to earn the trust and business of his client. In that regard alone, Rick demonstrates not only his integrity but also his excellent character by balancing both sides of the deal, allowing the House to earn another sale and the client to leave happy knowing that he was well served. Most painless car opurchase ever!! After contacting every Honda dealers in NH and one in MA looking for a specific 2016 Honda Pilot Touring in a specific color, I finally purchased from After contacting every Honda dealers in NH and one in MA looking for a specific 2016 Honda Pilot Touring in a specific color, I finally purchased from Dover Honda. They were the only one that said they could get the car quickly and at a price that was reasonable. All others except one, would not give me a final price over the phone or by email, insisting that I had to come in and talk about it and test drive the car- I told them I had test driver the car and knew exactly what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay. The one who would give me a non-negotiable price had only one vehicle but not in the color I wanted. With Dover Honda, we agreed on a price by email, I gave them my credit card for the deposit and picked up the new car 3 days later. The paperwork ands orientation at pickup took less than 2 hours and was painless. All personnel were very professional and helpful. They converted what is usually a degrading experience (trying to buy a new car from a dealer) into a very reasonable business transaction, and I would not hesitate to go back to the for another vehicle. More
