A Genuine and Respectful Experience Until last week, I held with the idea that to have a genuine, human, and authentic experience was rare, at best, and a car dealership was the last pla Until last week, I held with the idea that to have a genuine, human, and authentic experience was rare, at best, and a car dealership was the last place to find such an occasion. First, I spent over an hour with mostly Rob, the friendliest family man you'd ever want to meet, and Betty, this vivacious, sparkly woman in finance who's clearly adept at her job and valued by her coworkers. I came to them with the expectation that they would lay out information for me in black and white, discussing all of my options openly, and they did exactly that. However, I'll be honest, I wasn't comfortable with the numbers I was given. It just wasn't going to work for me, but I had decided, based on the figures in front of me, that another lease was my best option. I remained in that kind of limbo state until Rob had to briefly leave to pick up his kids from school, during which time, Jamie Pilla, the sales manager, stepped in to take over the discussion. Now, realize, I did my best not to immediately lionize Jamie once we started a dialogue that led to my finding out about his many accolades. Really quickly, it became clear that this was a human who had made strategic decisions about finances and personal development throughout his life. And, I watched him find in me a charismatic, strong, and genuine woman, adding to the sense of respect that I already felt was being paid to me. I immediately wanted this man as my life guru...and I told him so. Good moment. So, that's all cute and cheeky, but, in truth, what that did was instilled in me a sense that, not only did he, in fact, care about me (yes, Jamie, I realize that should have been an emotionless process, lol), but that he was also going to outline a wise financial decision. I had faith both in him and in his clear vision of who I am. After hours, we finally negotiated a deal that I was comfortable with. That, along with Rob's thorough explanations and general warm demeanor, as well as Betty's insight into my options to finance vs lease and really incredible selfhood, raised the bar on what I expect from my car dealership. Huh, I have "a" car dealership. Thanks for everything, guys. :-) More

Never once did I feel like I was just another comission for them, which was my worst fear because sales people unfortunately have that reputation. They actually cared about my thoughts and wishes for the car I bought, and were extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and in going over options. I could not have asked, or begged, for a better experience. I will definitely send anyone I know that needs a car to them! More
