Mike, there is really a lot more to this story. You left out the part about demanding a free repair to the window sash due to the recall which is totally unrelated. You were rude and condescending to the young lady that attempted to assist you. You agreed to cover any damages to the rental and then tried to find a way to circumvent that agreement. Yes you can blast us on this review but we all know the truth and the thousands of 5 star reviews tell the real story about how we treat honorable guests. You may contact me directly to discuss if you'd like. Danny Shutts, GM 262-334-9411 P.S. our service department is ranked in the top 10% of the Chicago Region per Region Records.

Chuck, Yes, I did ask for an additional part to be ordered and I asked if it could be covered given that the explosive airbag defect requires the customer to take time out of their day to get the vehicle repaired. I accept that toyota wouldn't go the extra mile and I accepted this information. Should I appologize asking for more than 1 part or repair at a time? You forgot to mention that both the first and second people I spoke with assured me the part was ordered and would be on hand for my visit, however upon my third call to check on the status of the warranty part, did I find no one ordered the part! Thank goodness for Nicks excellent service and confirming the warranty part was on hand and that he would get the part from Chicago the next day. To boot, Dan had notes that the part was to be ordered, yet he didn't get to parts to actually order it. His notes confirmed that he spoke to me about the part then didnt order it! I was very patient and straight forward. You may remember that after you told me I was being charged for center cap from loaner car then I explained details and instead of say, checking the prior condition paperwork of the rental, you told me to leave and never come back. Should I also mention the lane management issues you have and how my vehicle was started and moved prior to my authorization? Any response to grease marks on my dash? Any response to accusing me of scheduling a friday appointment so I could have a rental and make myself drive 2x to west bend instead of once? I will be ready for a new 4runner in 50k (before my vehicle reaches 10yrs old), too bad it can't come from russ darrow. Thank you for mailing a receipt of charges. I wish this whole situation could have gone smoothly. I am sorry that your best solution was to tell me to leave and never come back, while accusing me in front of other customers.
