Nightmare Experience Met with an inexperience salesman that sold me a used Toyota highlander that I kept returning for not working . I was misled with contract details vehicle turn out to be more costly than a new one. I endured more anguish frustrations headaches and heartache ever since visiting city world Toyota dealer. Wish I never walked into dealership. These people are driven by greed. What a horrifying experience to go through as a first time car owner. More

Michael Sharf is a credit to his profession This is the 3rd time I've had the pleasure of dealing directly with Mike Sharf. He is knowledgeable, courteous, professional and patient...character This is the 3rd time I've had the pleasure of dealing directly with Mike Sharf. He is knowledgeable, courteous, professional and patient...characteristics that I look for when making any major purchase. He treated my daughter and I like family. Fact is...we are part of the Toyota family as this is the 6th time I've done business at this particular dealership...and as long as Mike is there I will keep coming back! It is my pleasure to make this Mike's 30 Lifetime review. He certainly deserves it. Mike works very hard, including, but not limited to closing the deal, going over the specs and demonstrating the car's features to transfering the license plates. Did NOT honor an agreement I currently have a two year lease that is up in November from Westchester Toyota and a few months back received a letter from City World Toyota to com I currently have a two year lease that is up in November from Westchester Toyota and a few months back received a letter from City World Toyota to come in and see if they could get me into a new Toyota (lease) and they would take over the payments of my current lease. I went in and negotiated (for over 2 hours) with Fabian, who was lovely, very professional and overall a pleasure to deal with. We didn't come to an agreement that day but i asked if they would please call me if his boss/ manager changed his mind. The agreement was a RAV 4 XLE for $267 a month with $1,000 down with a 3 year lease and they were going to take over my old lease. I was happy with the numbers and said we have a deal if we could keep everything the same but I wanted a 2 year lease. His boss didn't go for it at the time but the following friday i received a call from Fabian saying we had a deal his boss gave him the go ahead and asked if I was available to come in that evening. I was told that it would be the car that was in the show room the white Rav4 XLE AWD. I repeated back the terms to him "$267 a month with $1,000 down two year lease and my current lease will be taken care of"? I told him I would be there by 8:00pm. I was in my car with my friend at the time and she too heard the whole conversation through bluetooth. About ten minutes later he called back and apologized as he didn't realize it had sold the night before. he asked if I would be interested in a Rav4 LE? Obviously I wasn't and asked when they were expecting more XLE in. He said they didn't have an exact date but by the following Saturday and as soon as they got one in they would call me. I kept the conversation short as i had to go to work but, I called a few times throughout the day to speak with Fabian but he was busy with other customers. I was very excited about coming to an agreement but wasn't sure if they needed me to go in and sign anything so I popped in after work that evening Friday March 28th. I spoke with Fabian, we discussed the terms of the agreement again he said I would receive a call as soon as they got more sock in. I told him "I just wanted to make sure this was a done deal" he said yes his boss knows the situation and they should have them in by saturday and then we shook hands. I didn't hear from anyone all week of over the weekend so i called Monday and spoke with Arabella and she told me she was just about to call me and they had a red, blue, grey and gold available. I said i would like the grey, she checked the lot and said it was there and to come on in. When I went in Fabian intruded me to his colleague and told me he was all caught up and would take care of me as he had to go to his daughters play. His colleague went of for a bit and came back with a completely different number. I explained to him what was agreed and it was clearly written on the original paper Fabian was working numbers out on. I told him to speak with Fabians boss as he was expecting me and agreed to those terms. Finally the boss (Robert) came in along with Fabian and his colleague and Robert first tried to place the blame on Fabian saying he had made some mathematical errors. He then switched the story to being confused and maybe preoccupied by something else. There were clearly no mathematical errors it was clear as day in black and white on paper and had been discussed multiple times. I asked Fabian if he was ever confused about the agreement and he agreed it was all clear Robert tried to start negotiating completely different numbers and I stopped him. I told him that we had already come to a verbal agreement, shook on it and he was either going to honor that agreement that was clear to everyone else or refuse to honor it. He didn't respond. I was clearly upset and expressed how disappointed I was, got up and left. More

I called weeks before my visit for returning leased vehicle & possibly getting another one. While I was in communication with at least two people working at this dealer, I was completely fooled by lie vehicle & possibly getting another one. While I was in communication with at least two people working at this dealer, I was completely fooled by lies of Lisa and others. Lisa told me it would be $793 plus tax & registration. However, when arrived talking to some slick salesman, he mentioned few things were left out like destination charges. Be aware of deception. Those people at the City World does not know the difference between $793 and $3632. Don't let them run your credit before you get the price. You will hear nothing but nonsense. More

So this review has both Sales and Service rolled into one. First I purchased a new Toyota Camry in fall of 2012, I was given an awesome price however my troubles started when they failed to submit my one. First I purchased a new Toyota Camry in fall of 2012, I was given an awesome price however my troubles started when they failed to submit my paper work to the DMV, in a timely fashion resulting in my bank hiking my interest rate from 2.19% to 16.09% for my failure to issue them my title in the allotted 90 day period. I called and even went to their location three (3) different times and they informed me how they had sent my documents to the dmv but this was not true, as I had called the DMV on my own to have this verified and they had none of my paper-work in their possession. It took a full six (6) months before the title came in the mail and my bank rolled back my interest rate to the initial 2.19%. I now noticed an airbag warning light on my dash-board brought the vehicle in to have this looked at @ approximately 4:45pm on a weekday they took my car after explaining why I was there, however at 5:15pm the service personnel informed me that my situation is a requires a diagnostic technician and they leave at 5pm so they cant help me today. After asking if the following day at 4pm would be fine she told me yes, sure enough I returned the next day @ 4pm and explained the issue again. They took my car and waited until 5:15pm they called me in and told me that my situation is a requires a diagnostic technician and they leave at 5pm so they cant help me today. ***THESE xxxxING JOKERS *** Eventually I brought my car to another service center who fixed the issue in after 2hrs at no charge because it turns out it was part of a mass recall of Toyota Camry of my year and problem was resolved. Finally received official notification from Toyota one (1) week ago about the recall and the service center knew for months (very strange) More
