Do not purchase or service your vehicle with the Chicago downtown VW. Ive had nothing but problems with my BRAND NEW 23 Tiguan SEL R Line. They started within a few weeks of ownership. Every time i go into downtown VW. Ive had nothing but problems with my BRAND NEW 23 Tiguan SEL R Line. They started within a few weeks of ownership. Every time i go into service, it gets worse with the techs causing more damage to my vehicle. The service department has no regard for customer's time as they will never give a slightly even accurate amount of time needed to complete. Communication is another issue. They just do not communicate: Ive been without my vehicle several times for tonger periods of time and never even received a loaner, not once. Trying to work with them one more time, I reached out to the GM of the facility. The constant follgwup required is ridiculous to try and resolve my issues, which are yet to be resolved. Save some headaches, money, time, go elsewhere. They do not value their customers here. More

Traveled in from out of town, experience was very average compared to other car purchases. Additionally, there were extra charges on final paper work that were not discussed on phone calls prior to purchase. compared to other car purchases. It the grand scheme, it wasn’t that big of a deal, but the optics of chargers that “couldn’t” be removed or hidden from the start, did not leave a good taste in my mouth. Whether it was the case or not, it felt like they dealer took advantage of the fact I was traveling from out of town by “hiding” costs that weren’t disclosed on the phone or the listing. Would only recommend dealer if they have a car you absolutely love. More

For being in downtown Chicago, the dealership was fairly easy to get to (considering we're Mid-Westerners and don't visit the city often). It was very convenient to be able to pull in to the service area an easy to get to (considering we're Mid-Westerners and don't visit the city often). It was very convenient to be able to pull in to the service area and have our vehicle valet parked while we were car shopping. The building was very clean and appealing to the eye. Getting the car to go for a test drive was quite a long wait. Considering we drove 3.5 hrs to test drive the vehicle we figured it would be ready to go as soon as we got there. I think in the end it was a communication error in getting the vehicle out in front of the dealership. That wasn't enough to spoil the experience for us. I will say we were a bit disappointed at the end of our transaction. There was still some trash left and areas that needed cleaned (something spilled in the arm console that was discovered during the test drive) inside the vehicle we purchased. And the gas tank was near empty. For the amount of money that we spent on the vehicle- a clean interior and a tank of gas doesn't seem too unreasonable. All in all it was a pretty good experience and I'm loving my Atlas!! More
