Lacking in customer service. I felt as if Vernon Automotive was lacking in customer service. My dealings with Rodney were professional, however, I did not feel as if I was a prior I felt as if Vernon Automotive was lacking in customer service. My dealings with Rodney were professional, however, I did not feel as if I was a priority to him. He was never overly friendly, nor did he go out of his way to make sure I was pleased. He was very short with me every time I spoke with him. I was very displeased to find out that after buying the truck that the dealership was going to charge a delivery fee, this is unheard of for me. I have purchased multiple vehicles and have never been charged for delivery... not once. We finally agreed that they would deliver the truck to me at no cost, however, when it came time for my deposit on the truck to be refunded, I was told that the deposit was used towards my delivery. The delivery was $400.00 and my deposit was $500.00, so the remaining was applied to the truck cost. This was NOT our agreement. I spoke with Martin in finance and he was very helpful and friendly, and in my opinion should be the one on the sales floor. When it was all said and done, I was told that actually came out on top because I had an extra $100.00... what a crock. I was under the impression that I was to receive the truck with no delivery fee and receive my refund back, however, that was not the outcome. I was told that had I bought brand new my experience would have been better. It is incredibly disappointing to me that this dealership does not value the sale of a $52,000.00 automobile. Because of my refund not being returned to me and because of the delivery fee being charged I will not be recommending Vernon Auto Group to anyone, nor will I ever buy a vehicle from this dealership again. More

Used Truck Purchase My son bought a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 Double Cab for him to take to Graduate School. It was his first vehicle purchase, so he didn't know what to expec My son bought a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 Double Cab for him to take to Graduate School. It was his first vehicle purchase, so he didn't know what to expect and I had told him all of the things that make car buying sometimes unpleasant. Well in fact, it was totally the opposite. These guys are nice people. We started out earlier in the week, talking to Patrick Madrid. He chased information and pictures down for me. Rodney Haston took over once we arrived at the dealership. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. At 10 minutes before closing, we asked Rodney Haston if he could get the tires rotated on the truck to see if it would take a slight shake out of the truck. They did that, and balanced them. We drove the truck, it quit shaking, so we bought it. So a good recommendation for the guys in the service department. We live 3 hours away and would have been hard to come back not knowing if it was a simple fix or something else. Stephanie Fernandez did the follow up paperwork for us. She's pretty special too. I still need one more truck for my other son starting college in the fall. Rodney and his group are looking for that one now. We will definitely go back and get it there. More

Long distance car buy I found my car online. I cantacted Vernons and got connected with Rodney. I asked him a million questions and he even sent me more pictures to make su I found my car online. We put down a deposit and drove 5 hours one-way in hopes that the car was as good as we imagine. Rodney ran all of our finance information and got us approved before we made the trip. Everything was ready and waiting for us when we got there. We got there and the car was better than we imagined. This car was DEFINITELY under estimated. I have put over 1000 miles on the car in 2 weeks and it still runs great. Even some of the small issues we found have fix themselves! Vernon’s was organized and fast. We weren’t at the dealership more than an hour. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. THANK YOU RODNEY!! More

Love my truck!!!😃 Not many would travel 1900 miles and 30 hours to buy a vehicle they have never seen, but we did. We had a 2013 Ram and I loved that truck. Circumstances led us to a other vehicles and finally back to this Ram Mega Cab dually 3500. Went on auto trader, found this truck on Friday, called and spoke to Rodney Haston, made a deal and headed for Texas on Monday. Being retired has it’s perks. We kept in touch by text as we traveled and arrived on Wednesday. Confirmed our trade, financing done with Martin Oronia and did the walk around with Bryce. Texts from Ashley Hernandez and the accessories manager were also received. Everyone at Vernon Auto Group was on the same page, very courteous and a pleasure to work with. They deal in all makes of vehicles. We would highly recommend them. More
