The first TL I purchased through here was smooth sailing. Loved the experience, so I came back. The second, absolutely terrible. Nissa was awesome in the finance area, and Brian was OK for test drive, etc Loved the experience, so I came back. The second, absolutely terrible. Nissa was awesome in the finance area, and Brian was OK for test drive, etc. Other than that, absolutely terrible. Below is a copy of my email sent on 7/15 to Bob, Jim and Brian. This email wasn't responded to until 9/9 after 5 other emails asking for follow up. I feel that this was an unacceptable timeline. However, Jim was nice enough to attempt to help. Unfortunately they couldn't re-key to give me a Driver 1 and Driver 2 (this seems really odd to me). He did help me out with a discount on a remote starter as well. Months past and I just let it go, feeling that Jim tried to make up for all the poor service I received, even though I wasn't totally happy. Now it's time to schedule my next oil change. I clearly didn't want to go back to Acura of Avon when Schaller Acura is closer, and they have been absolutely amazing servicing our other TL. So I reached out to Schaller for an appointment. They were asking about records on the car which I didn't have. I knew Avon did, so Schaller reached out to "Megan", and she gave him whatever information was there. I had also gone on Avon's chat system. The woman on chat said she'd forward the details of my inquiry to customer service. I then received and email from Ron at Avon stating that the car I was interested in was sold, but to check out a similar vehicle. Well, that seems obvious - because I own it. I then re-iterated my question to Ron. Here is our conversation: -Ron, if you had read my request you'd know that I PURCHASED that vehicle. I'm looking for service records. Wow. -Sorry Dawn, As I recall you had issues with our dealership correct? -Yes. There were scratches that weren't fixed, found chewed up heat resistent material in my 'certified' car under the hood, and I was given to Driver 1 keys that couldn't be re-keyed (right.). Are there service records and a car fax that you can send me? -No we don't keep on file after we deliver vehicle.Sorry -Interesting. Megan gave information to Schaller this morning on it. -Then your good. Great.. Really, Ron? Acura of Avon's customer service is a joke. When we go for an MDX, it'll be to Schaller. Email as mentioned above: "To be honest, I’m not all satisfied. The scratches look the same. The scratches by the trunk were barely, if at all, touched. If the scratches weren’t going to be repaired, it should not have been promised at the time of the sale. Next, the second key that was programmed is a second ‘Driver One’, when I specifically stated that I had a Driver 1 and needed a driver 2. In addition, you had the key in your possession and still programmed another of the same label. Small detail, but it’s annoying that no attention was paid to matters at hand that were specifically mentioned by Brian and promised to be done correctly. On top of that, I was given a loaner car with only a half a tank of gas. I live 45 minutes away (without traffic). I took the time to drive down there and back twice because of errors on your part. You chose to agree to a 1:00 pick up. You chose not to advise me that the car wasn’t able to be registered and I’d need to use dealer plates. You chose not to fix the scratches as promised. And, Brian, you specifically said that the reason being was that you didn’t have the proper paint color (after your story changed from that buffing it was all that could be done). And, on top of all of that, you neglected to call me to advise me of any of these issues. Instead, I had to make two additional trips. I figured the least you’d do for all of the trouble would be to fill the gas tank. It’s terrible that this was my experience. In our first Acura TL purchase at Acura of Avon, we were thrilled. Everything was as promised. We didn’t feel cheated, or as if we were lied to. There was constant communication and every promise that was made to us was lived up to. This experience was much different. As a repeat customer, I’m not happy. " More

The purchase of my new Acura RDX was stress free. The overall feel of the Acura of Avon dealership is professional, welcoming, and everyone I worked with was super friendly. The energetic sales team in their shirts and ties made me feel comfortable and at ease right from the beginning. My sales associate, Todd Fanella, was extremely knowledgable about Acura features and made the entire process enjoyable. I never felt as if I was being given a sales pitch or being "handled". It was clear that Todd believes in the Acura product and that it sells itself. My test drive was fun and I love my new car! Ron DaSilva, the General Sales Manager, gave me a good trade in value for my beloved Toyota. I appreciated his kind words about my Toyota. It was hard to say good-bye to a car I spent ten years driving. Ron went an extra step to lay out the terms of both buying and leasing my RDX. He and Todd talked me through my options and lifestyle to determine which path was the best choice for me. I truly appreciate them taking the time to explain all my options. I never felt as if I was taking too long or asking too many questions. They were both patient, funny, and very helpful. Nissa Johnson, the Business Manager, is just great! She had all the financial paper work ready when I met with her and explained the details of everything I was signing in language I could understand. Nissa also helped me transfer my vanity license plate over to my leased car. This was a lot of extra work for her, but she genuinely seemed happy to help. I never even had to deal with the DMV, she took care of everything! I never imagined that buying a car could be so much fun! Thank you Todd, Ron, and Nissa, you are awesome!!! - KY More

After getting the run around at another dealership we made a call to Acura of Avon and talked with Ron on the phone and let him know what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay and he said he woul made a call to Acura of Avon and talked with Ron on the phone and let him know what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay and he said he would beat that price without an issue so we said are you sure if we drive the 30 minutes that it would be worth our time. He said yes and it was! We got the car we wanted with all the options and even added in running boards and the prices was still less then the other dealer More

Buying a car from Acura of Avon was a great experience from start to finish. The dealership is full of positive energy, and everyone I worked with was both friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to negotiate, buy and drive away the same day with the exact car that I wanted - and they made the process so easy. After having a not-so-great experience somewhere else, it was refreshing to meet the Acura of Avon team. I would highly recommend buying a car there to family, friends and coworkers. I worked with Ron, Aaron & Nissa - they were all fantastic! More

Going to "test drive" an MDX, I ended up leasing a new 2013 a week later. Aaron was very helpful and informative on the test drive. The purchase and delivery of our TSX was exceptional from start to finish. All the people involved in the sale were very friendly and helpful. Greg was knowledgeable, he delivered exactly what he promised (my purchase included working with the service department), and he was easy to work with (Greg is likeable and has a light sales touch). Nissa Johnson went out of her way to make the business experience as painless as possible and made me feel like I was the only customer in the Showroom ( and I ensure you that I was not!) By the way, I returned to this dealership because of the way Betsy treated me in service when I fist moved to the area as I had leased my first Acura in 2011 from a dealer in PA. I was not expecting to purchase an Acura, and this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Our sales consultant "Aaron Tinnell" was incredibly knowledgeable and want to find us the most pleasant experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Our sales consultant "Aaron Tinnell" was incredibly knowledgeable and want to find us the car that was best for us...not best for them. "Ron DaSilva", the sales manager was very supporting and worked hard to make the deal happen, and the business manager "Nissa Johnson" was great at making sure we selected the financing and additional products we needed...and steering us away from what we didn't need. A great experience with no buyers remorse at all. Thank you Acura of Avon, Aaron, Ron and Nissa. More
