The service department told me I had a leak from my transfer case needed new brakes and a tear in my drive belt. Transfer case had no leak all fluid was there and a week later my transmission xxxx the transfer case needed new brakes and a tear in my drive belt. I find the timing odd because I’ve never had an issue with it prior and if there was a leak why couldn’t they determine where it was actually coming from rather than ASSUMING it was in the transfer case. I tried to get a hold of the service manager and it was a case of phone tag where he called me back once and I tried calling back several times. The man who replaced my transmission told me had I brought it in prior I could have avoided needing a whole new transmission and not paying $6,000. More
