Previously, we worked with a dealer in our prior home state and had a lot of confidence in him. However, when we came to Florida, we had to start all over again building a relationship with a dealer in our new home state. We did our homework and shopped around, going all the way to the end of the process with several dealers until we decided upon Jenkins. The environment is professional (others were shoddy and dirty); inventory was good; we were not pressured (unlike other dealers); "sales extras" were appreciated. I am a number cruncher and required a lot more financial data than the average buyer. Other dealers were rude and condescending when I requested this information, but I was treated respectfully at this dealership after explaining why I was looking for it. Our only complaint was that we had excessive wait time on several occasions. Our salesman was new, so we are cutting him some slack for not knowing when and how to push the right buttons with management for his customer. So we did it for him, and management responded well to it. More

When it became obvious that my driving days were over, my son started a conversation with Ryan Baroni, General Manager of Jenkins Kia. He painstakingly worked with us to resolve this issue over time. He was understanding and compassionate and bridged the gap with Kia Motors Finance. Many of Ryan's people became involved and all were professional and helped us through this crisis. Oscar Martinez was extremely patient, and helped us weigh different options & my daughter's very particular tastes. John Brooks & Ryan Baroni personally got involved to ensure our needs were met & did the needful to ensure we were satisfied.
