Sam and Ahmed gave an incredibly competitive offer for my trade in and have continued to take care of me even after the deal was closed. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and would gladly refer anyone to Greater Chicago Motors. My experience with them has been unmatched by any other dealer and they go above and beyond to make sure you are in the car you want and continue to be satisfied with the deal. More

I rarely write a review but my experience at Greater Chicago Motors, in particular with their sales person, Ahmed merits a great review. I flew in from Miami to see my dream car, a BMW M6, and from the Chicago Motors, in particular with their sales person, Ahmed merits a great review. I flew in from Miami to see my dream car, a BMW M6, and from the moment I walked in to the showroom Ahmed greeted and made sure my experience was exceptional. Today my car arrived to my house in closed shipping in showroom condition. Thank you Ahmed, Sam & Chad for a wonderful purchase experience. Had to talk to owner, Sam Abbas to get a PPI from a shop he recommended after I had signed the purchase agreement. Non-negotiable $299 processing fee included an Allstate Theft Deterrent policy. No discuss. Signed a copy at closing. Read later. Talked to Allstate. They are just the administrator. Indicated etching VIN on glass or other parts is a typical added theft deterrent. Texted Sam. Referred to Chad. Canned email indicated they just register the car with Allstate and think that's OK. Policy language clearly indicated an added device or system. Just another way to justify the $299. Car only had 1/4 tank, since I paid full price asked if they would fill up. Said fine. When driving away only had 2/3. Really, can't fill the gas tank on a full price $40K sale Only a 30 day, 500 mile power train warranty which was used up driving from Chicago to Norther VA. No issues. One minor accident CARFAX which had to be initialed. Second remote had no battery, added, works fine with new battery. VA State Inspection discovered right front tire has 2/32 less tread and two years older than left front. This could have and should have been a completely satisfactory sale, but they just continued to work themselves down to 2 stars. As with any used car dealership, BUYER BEWARE. More

In short, I bought this first car for my son a 2010 VW CC which I dealt with SAM SALEM throughout the process. He is the wholesale buyer for the dealership. SAM SALEM song and danced us with words for months about how great he was and how he was all about the customer etc. Was complete BS!!! Finally said he found a great car which I was supposed to pay wholesale for plus a $600 fee for service of buying directly through auction. Once he got the car in his possession which took forever, he said he had his mechanic check it out and it was very good. Even said this car can last your son several years. So the bad news started when the car was being shipped here by an independent trucking company SAM had contracted. When I spoke to the truck driver about coordinating drop off, he mentioned the car would not go into reverse. I immediately spoke to SAM SALEM and he said it was likely a linkage problem and an easy fix and not to worry. Said regardless of what was wrong he would make good and take care of it. He even preset an appointment at my local VW dealer to have the car inspected upon arrival. Perhaps the RED flag I should have listened to and simply not accepted delivery. However, SAM SALEM being the smooth talker he is, made me feel at ease that if it needed repair he would make good on his word. So we took delivery of vehicle - SAM SALEM brought the car down from Chicago himself via a pick-up truck and a vehicle hauler. Keep in mind that the truck driver that gave me the bad news about transmission, ended up taking the car to the dealership first which is where SAM SALEM supposedly had the car inspected. Once the car was in my possession, we did take it to VW of Noblesville IN. Here is where it gets bad. The car had a bad transmission and was basically inoperable! Car's core support was broken, cars manifold was bad! Not to mention car had a pretty good dent on the passenger side that was never mentioned. Also, keep in mind I purchased car sight unseen based on the word of this guy SAM SALEM. Cost to repair all of this and get the car roadworthy - Over $6,000. Thankfully, I found a great local mechanic who saved me a couple of thousand dollars. Now there are usually two sides to every story. This one I can assure has no other side besides lies and promises. If they reply to this, which I am sure they don't care enough to do so, it will no doubt be excuses and lies. Bottom line, DO NOT purchase a vehicle from her or SAM SALEM. You will be courted and made to feel like a friend and then crapped all over. The worst part is for weeks upon weeks, SAM SALEM said he would be depositing money into my PAY-PAL account to at least cover the transmission. Never happened and the slimeball disappeared into the night just like the typical shady car salesman. It's a shame that people no longer have the common decency to keep their word and do the right thing. There is actually so much more to this but again not enough screen to tell it all. STAY away from dealer and SAM SALEM and SAM ABBAS. More
