We went to the dealer with low expectations, we only had a pre-approval AutoLoan for 36k at 8.0% interest rate for a brand new Equinox. Samo (Sales Rep) greeted us upon arrival, he noted down our request "n a pre-approval AutoLoan for 36k at 8.0% interest rate for a brand new Equinox. Samo (Sales Rep) greeted us upon arrival, he noted down our request "new Equinox EV RS, preferably in Black with Glass roof" and show us a couple of Equinox he had in the front lot. Since the front lot was limited, he took us for a ride to the back of the dealer where they had line up dozens of Equinox EV that had just arrived. We fell in love with an RS model painted in 2 tones, white pearl and with a black top/roof. The sticker price for this model was 49k and they had a similar one going for 51k. Way above our price range! He said he can make this deal happen, and started looking for any applicable rebates for the deal. Patiently he started asking questions to get every discount posible, are you an essential worker?, do you have a costco membership? Do you already own a GM product? and so on! He managed to apply a total of 10.5k in rebates, which put us just a bit above our pre-approved amount. Lastly he asked if we had a trade in vehicle, basically anything paid off that can start and get you from point A to point B, he manage to score us a additional 4k on a car we had squeeze everybit of it during it's lifespan 😅... We got a great deal! We purchase a Equinox EV way above the amount we where looking for, in colors that we didn't even knew they existed, and the cherry on the top was, that the finance team worked on beating the pre-approval loan, getting us a 6.5% interest auto loan under the same terms. Honestly I can't ask for a better experience, I would always recommend Ferman Chevy for any new Car purchase. More
