Scott was a technician at Bob Brown's Chevrolet before he came to Stews as a Service Advisor. He is a West Des Moines kinda guy and an alumn of Valley High School and DMACC. He and his wife Janet have two sons and a daughter. They are housing parents for the DM Buccaneer's and he enjoys golf, fishing and watching the kids in sporting activities. Excellent service! I have purchased 9 vehicles from Stew Hansen's and my parents have purchased a few also. Jerry Bill, Steve Emos and James Reynolds have always taken c I have purchased 9 vehicles from Stew Hansen's and my parents have purchased a few also. Jerry Bill, Steve Emos and James Reynolds have always taken care of us and provided excellent customer service. They have even delivered two vehicles to my house to complete the paperwork. If there ever is something that we've needed, they have jumped all over it to help. The service department has always been extremly helpful when I have either dropped of or scheduled service. I even broke a mirror off one of my trucks at about 5pm at night...drove to the dealership and they replaced the entire mirror in about 20 minutes. We've always had a positive experience here and would reccomend to others. More

I was in there a couple of times. The first time i brought my car in with a rattle in the front left. They told me that my strut tension bars were bad and Scott Crowell told me that he was 110% the ra brought my car in with a rattle in the front left. They told me that my strut tension bars were bad and Scott Crowell told me that he was 110% the rattle that my car was making. The bill came out to be 577 dollars and some odd change. The told me if this didnt fix the problem that they would fix it until it was fixed. And those were Scotts exact words. Get the car back that day and start driving down Hickman and instantly started making the noise again. Scott told me that the technician took it on a drive after he had switched parts and didnt hear the noise. I find that hard to believe since as soon as i got off the lot it started rattling. So i took it back and then they had it almost all day! They said that a slider in the caliper was loose and packed it full of silicon lube and tightened the anti-rattle clips on the brake pads themselves. Scott again said that the problem was fixed. As soon as i pull off the lot it again starts rattling. So i call and tell him and we set up another time to bring it in. So i bring it in and Scott and Todd both tell me theres nothing they could do. That they would have to replace the caliper itself and that was going to be another 470 dollars. Even after i brought up the fact that Scott was 110% certain that that was the problem the first time. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau because they completely scammed me. IF THEY EVER TELL YOU THEYLL FIX IT ON THEM UNTIL ITS FIXED THEN THATS A COMPLETE BULL LIE!!!! I do not recommend this dealer to ANYONE and i will do nothing but tell people about how bad my customer service was and how they scammed me! More
