Absolutely horrible service especially from the general manager, Scott Lewis. He omitted info about buying out a lease that would have been extremely important to know ahead of time. They also lost my cred manager, Scott Lewis. He omitted info about buying out a lease that would have been extremely important to know ahead of time. They also lost my credit app that I filled out with Scott. When he finally admitted to the mistake he was rude, and very unwilling to help with the situation. The info he omitted was supposedly a state law. I went to another dealer and they were more than helpful. In fact they made the experience painless and stress free. Also they never heard of the said state law that Scott mentioned which was to not drive the vehicle while the process was going on for three weeks. Herb Chambers has lost me as a customer for life. I will never do business with or recommend them to anyone in the future. More

Scott Lewis is a consummate professional.He removes all the negativity that can be associated with purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. Very straight forward. He listens to the customer. In an industry fraught with issues the experience I had with the entire team at Herb Chambers in Braintree was particularly superb. I was considering an F150 and from remote support setting up the appointm with the entire team at Herb Chambers in Braintree was particularly superb. I was considering an F150 and from remote support setting up the appointment to the way I was treated visiting their showroom & test-driving I only wish I could have purchased my next vehicle from this team. Though we learned rather quickly my financial expectations were a few shades off from reality the sales team and even their GM ,Scott Lewis, treated me with the upmost courtesy and respect. I have literally never written a review for anything in my entire life but stellar customer experiences merit recognition so I hope others who read this post push HC to the top of their list when considering purchasing a new vehicle. More

I had been on a search as I lov HOLE IN THE SUB FRAME-Worst experience Ever! Beware. I found a used 2012 Escape Limited with 58k miles on their site. I had been on a search as I loved my last one and like the lifting rear window. Called and spoke to Lisa, after speaking a bit, I received an email from Eric. I live 2 hours away and after being told this car was extremely clean and well cared for by both people I agreed to complete a credit form to purchase as not to loose the deal. They would not accept a credit card down payment over the phone until I could get there. There was a 30 day return policy. My loan was approved and almost 3 WEEKS later the SUV was delivered to me, new driver seat cover and AC compressor, and they took my trade, 2014 Jetta Diesel, very nice 37k miles. Ok so, on delivery I went to start SUV, strange noise and delayed start. I was speaking to Eric, they forgot my paperwork and no spare key. I had him listen to noise. We agreed they would pick it up in 3 days later and give me a loaner during that time. I took it to a friend and put it on a lift. THERES A HOLE IN THE SUB FRAME! Mind you it Passed Inspection. I called Eric, he was surprised and stated they would look at it, along with other things, I had found over time the auto locks did not engage when in drive, when you push the Auto button for the heat and the AC came on, the heat was barely hot unless you turned it to 80, the wheel well they fixed rust on was just a piece of metal riveted on the inside, paint blisters were still there, the center console was loose, the passenger front door speaker was blown for a few things! First Eric apologized and said they missed the hole in the sub frame and would cancel the sale. Then I received calls from GM Scott Lewis. The outcome was they would fix the hole?! and other problems, I could take the SUV have my mechanic/ body shop look at it and make a final decision within 2 days. I was confused?and agreed. I spoke to my friends and they said, “NO” I called and left a voicemail for Scott. Hmmm there was a lot of radio silence and voice mails left. Seems I could only get in touch with Eric & the GM was suddenly too busy to answer his phone. Again, Eric was left to apologize. When I did reach Scott , he was very busy and had to deal with customers on the floor and told me he was only involved for 2 days. I guess I wasn’t a customer?! and that’s bull because these issues are discussed in daily morning meetings. He did not call me back several times and I ended up driving there on a Saturday morning to get my car back and end the deal... BTW, I didn’t get my car back, that’s another story, but I will NEVER deal with them again! I bought a beautiful used Escape from a Ford dealer in Holyoke MA and they were awesome!!! More

I buy more than 15 cars from you guys! I really recommend you guys change the GM This idiot give me attitude he should be a car wash guy not a GM! Very disappointed More

No haggle pricing. Finance process is slow. Pricing is on the cars, but sometimes less on the website. Website prices honored. Manager Rick was fair with our trade negotiations, but not the price we needed for a car we purchased there 4 years ago. Ahmed, our client relations person, was very friendly. Only 42 days at this store he was somewhat knowledgeable and eager to get answers we needed. No pressure or cheap tactics, although we went in with a specific vehicle to buy. Over an hour wait to meet with finance. This needs to be quicker. Only used there finance because they don't hold vehicles unless paid in full. So if you want to use your bank or credit union, come with a check or be prepared to refinance. Brian was swift with knocking out the paperwork. We pick up this week, let's see if the pick up process is better than last time.... My reason for not 5 stars Waiting time. Long wait at sales desk and to get into finance. Not paying trade amount we needed, $500 more is all we asked.... More

Extended warranty On 11/13/18 I purchased an extended warranty for my vehicle. Unfortunately 8 days after purchasing my warranty the tailgate decided to not work. They On 11/13/18 I purchased an extended warranty for my vehicle. Unfortunately 8 days after purchasing my warranty the tailgate decided to not work. They are machines and they do break. I then take it in for repair on 11/21/18. After not hearing from anyone, I then call service on 11/29 and the service associate says "We haven't touched it, theres a problem with your warranty." Looking at the time frame if there was an issue with paperwork I think I should have gotten a phone call a day or so after the 13th. Or maybe when I dropped it off on the 21st someone would have said something. Nothing - not even a phone call from service or the sales associate who sold me the warranty. So now on November 29th ( 16 days later) I personally go to the dealership and look for answers. The manager Scott Lewis said to me " I believe the conditions were pre-existing and you are not covered." So I guess I'm a liar and I purchased the warranty for nothing. He then explained to me my vehicle should have been inspected. Which they did not do or mention it needed to be done. Another error on their part. So my $ 300 deposit has been sitting in their bank since 11/13 and I have received nothing but the " I don't believe you" from Scott Lewis - The manager. After loosing 2 days of work, and pay, the put down of being a liar, and them holding my deposit of $ 300 with not even a simple phone call: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP More
