Hello, my name is Scott Zollinger. I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I started working for the O’Daniel Organization in December 2023; however, I have worked in the car industry for over a decade. I take great pride in being straightforward and honest. At O’Daniel, my purpose is to provide excellent customer service and leave customers feeling confident with their purchase. My personal goal is for customers to turn into lifelong friends based on trust and loyalty. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Erica, and our two boys: Isaac and Cooper. We also have two dogs, Maui & Mack. On any given Sunday you could find me on a golf course — rain or shine!

He went above and beyond to make sure that the vehicle I purchased was perfect, and continuously communicate with me throughout the process, and thereafter. In short, Scott really is the only reason I actually went through with purchasing my vehicle from there, and would be the only reason I ever returned. The dealership's other staff were quite frustrating at times. Someone there "called my bank" and "locked me in" at some random rate and when I went to go do this I found out when they allegedly called they were closed at that time, and they had not even remotely done so. This dealership doesn't even work with them. This led me to have to sort everything out with my bank for almost 5 hours and get it all taken care of when I was assured that it was "all ready to go" and I could just "walk in with my purchase agreement". Furthermore, days later I started getting calls saying that I had been approved for my vehicle purchase and I just needed to finalize everything, which was surprising considering their finance guy had said he wasn't able to approve me through any other their companies and that is why I wasn't able to take my car yet. Which was baffling considering my credit history which is rated "very good". I also had to sit for almost two hours and wait to sign my paperwork for my vehicle because they only have one person that does that, and it is in the Porsche and Audi area, and it was just very deterring to see the difference in priority of my purchase and the obvious larger purchases that were taking place. There were five employees just sitting there watching me sit there for two hours and joking around, laughing, and being totally unprofessional. Just talking about all of the "big sales" they needed to make for certain purchases they were planning on making. Although my purchase was not as large as a "custom Porsche", it felt like I was just not as important to the team there. I had been there even days prior and this was me actually coming back with everything and I even had let them know I was on my way. Likewise, the amount of time it took me to sign my paperwork was literally 5-10 minutes if that. The other 4-5 people that were ahead of me took an absurd amount of time because to me it looked like they were picking out all there "customizations" and they were going back and forth with the perspective Porsche and Audi people. This only added to the frustration thereafter because I sat there for over 2 hours and it was like my $30,000 check was worthless to them. Additionally, I almost did not even get my registration on time. Which would've resulted in me having to pay more fees. There were other issues with the process I won't get into but let's just say this too had a ridiculous issue I had not encountered in my previous vehicle purchases. Overall, in my opinion Scott is a wonderful sales consultant. He goes above and is quite personable. He was vital in getting my vehicle down to a price that I needed, and helping me get the best price on trade. The other aspects of the dealership in regards to finance, and disregard for the value of my time, and my purchase. Although I did not purchase a custom Audi R8. I wish it would've just felt a bit more appreciated than some random used car purchase. I live over an hour a way and went out of my way to come here because my father had purchased a vehicle from their Ford Dealer. He did not have this issue there and his experience was quite different from mine (he was with me at this time) . I would recommend maybe considering hiring a traded vehicle financing person, so people do not have to go over to the other building and wait on the large purchases. Also, the back and forth is just kind of a nuisance. I think overall it should be in one building and a separate person who only works on trades should be responsible for those purchases. To prevent people from having the same experience I had. More
