UPDATE: After my initial review and direct escalation regarding pre-existing wheel damage on my vehicle, the General Manager stepped in to resolve the situation. ​While the initial communication and f regarding pre-existing wheel damage on my vehicle, the General Manager stepped in to resolve the situation. ​While the initial communication and follow-up during the post-sale process were frustrating, management took full accountability once made aware of the issue. They authorized the reimbursement for the local wheel repair and replacement, resolving the matter quickly and professionally. ​I appreciate the management team taking ownership and ensuring a fair resolution in the end. _________________________________ We purchased a 2024 BMW X7 from Bridgewater Kia after doing quite a bit of research and choosing this dealership in part because of its reputation and reviews. We were also willing to make the 5-hour drive because we felt we were buying from a reputable dealer. Shortly after arriving and inspecting the vehicle, we discovered undisclosed damage to the front end, a significant dent/crease. We brought this to the dealership’s attention and I do want to acknowledge that the dealership did work with us on a slight price adjustment because we were already there after making the 5-hour drive. During our test drive, there was a noticeable vibration/shake throughout the drive. We specifically brought this to the salesperson’s attention while on the test drive. We were told it was most likely the tires because the vehicle had been sitting, and we were reassured that it was nothing to be concerned about because the vehicle had gone through a thorough inspection process. The vibration was still present after driving the vehicle home. After having the vehicle inspected locally, we learned that the driver’s front rim was severely bent and the driver’s rear rim was moderately bent. In addition, a crack was discovered in one of the rims. We are now facing $2,000+ in repairs and replacement costs, including repairing the bent rim and completely replacing the cracked rim, which we were told is not repairable and a safety issue. We contacted the dealership and gave them multiple opportunities to work with us on a reasonable resolution. We were ultimately told they could repair the wheels if we brought the vehicle back to New Jersey. Being asked to make another 10-hour round trip for an issue that was already present when we purchased the vehicle was not a realistic solution. I would have expected this dealership to take reasonable ownership when a significant safety-related issue was discovered immediately after purchase, particularly when the vibration had been specifically brought to their attention during the test drive. More

Went to Bridgewater Kia on the spur of the moment and had noticed the large inventory of hybrid vehicles. It was extremely busy but they made the experience a pleasure and I rode off with brand new Sportage noticed the large inventory of hybrid vehicles.
