Went in for a 2019 closeout, came out with a 2020 Sorento! I went in with the intention of getting a 2019 closeout Sorento model. The $6,000 cash rebate was impressive, and it was time to trade in my 2015 Sor I went in with the intention of getting a 2019 closeout Sorento model. The $6,000 cash rebate was impressive, and it was time to trade in my 2015 Sorento (which I also purchased from Destination Kia) The dealership/salesperson Jon was willing to find me a 2019 and did, but wondered why not the 2020. I said "The price!" I also wasn't keen on all of the fancy technology, honestly. I like a plain car. After weighing the pros and cons of a 2019 versus 2020, coupled with the wonderful rebates, a generous trade-in allowance, and getting us the 0.9% financing for 72 months, we ended up driving home our 2020 Kia Sorento S V6 yesterday. It's a bit fancier than I'm used to, but I'm starting to appreciate the perks. I paid less than $3,000 more for a current-year model with more options thanks to them. In 5-6 years, when I'm ready to retire this one, I'll be back for sure! More
