Made a deal happen that no one else got close to. Bought a Chevy Bolt from Shawn at Phillips Chevy. The Bolt has limited inventory in Illinois but I was still looking to get a good deal on the car. Mo Bought a Chevy Bolt from Shawn at Phillips Chevy. The Bolt has limited inventory in Illinois but I was still looking to get a good deal on the car. Most dealers were using the fact that it just rolled out here as motivation to offer zero discounting on the car. Phillips though was aggressively going after the market and was really the only dealer advertising discounts on the car and had the largest selection. I went to see Shawn and we couldn't quite make a deal but I let him know at what price I was a buyer. Most dealers would just let a deal die they couldn't do but Shawn kept pressing his GM to make it happen. A few days later I get an email from Mark saying let's make this happen. He creatively and aggressively worked out a deal no one else was close to doing. Phillips Chevy save me literally thousands over the best offer I got anywhere else (and I tried them all) and see gave me the best offer on my trade. Phillips means it when they say they won't be beat. On top of putting together a great deal Phillips had the most friendly and professional staff of any dealer I visited and the cleanest and most updated facilities. Everything and everyone was top notch from beginning to end. More
