We looked at the reviews for dealers in the CT area and liked what we read about Toyota of Wallingford. Bill and the team worked with our budget, gave us a great trade-in value for a vehicle that would have been very difficult to sell in the northeast, and had us in a 2012 corolla in no time. My wife and I never felt pressured even when we needed time to think about the terms of the offer. I came in nervous about dealing with stereotypical car sales folk, but felt admittedly silly after our great experience with Bill. Toyotas are great vehicles that can more or less sell themselves. What sets Bill and the team at Wallingford Toyota apart is their ability to ensure each unique customer's needs are met. We went here to drive a used car which ended up being sold before we got there. Stu and Leo listened to what we wanted (a large 3 row car) and were personally interested in making a good fit for us. I walked into this dealership just to request a quote for financing elsewhere and then i met Rick Gary from sales. Rick made sure i didn't leave their show room without a deal and it turned out to be a bette financing elsewhere and then i met Rick Gary from sales. Overall experience at this dealership was great, i was treated with respect from the moment i met Rick to the day i was called that my car is available and Sohail went over all the paper work with me with ease. Everyone at the dealership were helpful though i can't remember them all from sales to service and finance. Toyota of Wallingford delivered the best experience I have ever received in acquiring a vehicle, in this case a Toyota Corolla LE which I love. It is my first Toyota. Not only would I recommend this dealership to others, I plan on continuing on doing business with them in the future. It is no wonder they have been rated the #1 Toyota Dealer in CT in 2012. They deserve it. Every individual along every step of the way made me feel that their main priority was customer satisfaction and not just selling me a vehicle. Gloria Fernadez, who is the Business Manager, was professional and thorough. There was no aggressive sales pressure from her, or anyone else that I had help me through the process. I did not feel rushed and my car was in pristine condition when delivered. They took the time to really show me all the ins and outs of my new Toyota. Leo Gallardo, Rick Gary, Sohail Butt and Stuart each went out of their way to enable me to get the car I wanted, and drive away with a smile on my face while believing that I had made the right decision to become a customer of Toyota of Wallingford and to buy a Toyota. Steve Zion, Sr., the dealership owner, obviously runs a good operation that's priority is first delivering on customer satisfaction and hiring and retaining good people. I have, and never have had, any connection with this dealership at all, except being a new customer. If you are wondering why I am describing things in great detail, it is because I was somewhat amazed at what I experienced. Many years ago in the late 1990's I was in the automotive business myself before changing professions. I was a General Sales Manager for a high line imported car dealer. I know the business. These people are at the top of their game. More
