Misleading sales person While looking for a new Hyundai Accent last month, I did what I always do. I went on line and got 3 quotes from area deanships. It was decided we would go here to purchase the new car. I would like to start by saying I was doing this research for a friend so I was not the one actually buying the car. Stan, the salesman, sent a price that was great. I had no reason to doubt the price as I have personally purchased 3 different cars from the Heritage Family and have been very happy. Once we were there, I showed the price Stan sent me and he informed me that the price he sent was only if I was a recent college graduate, a first responder and a member of the military. Not one of them, but all. He had asked via email if my friend would qualify for any of these incentives and I stated he did not. At that time, Stan should have indicated the price he sent would not apply. He did not. He let us assume the price he sent was in fact, correct. I told my friend he should walk as I feel these sales tactics were extremely deceptive. This is not the way to run a business and I assure you I will never darken their doors again. Furthermore, I have and will continue to inform people I know not to shop for a car there. More
