By way of background, I am writing this review as a customer who lives in (and has always lived in) Maryland. I have owned Volvos for longer than I care to admit and have purchased new and used Volvos customer who lives in (and has always lived in) Maryland. I have owned Volvos for longer than I care to admit and have purchased new and used Volvos as well as accessories and service from several Volvo dealers local to Maryland and Delaware. Almost a year ago I ran into an issue with my wife's current Volvo pertaining to the VolvoApp. Despite my contacting several local (to Maryland) Volvo dealers and the VolvoApp assistant, I was not able to get a solution. After perusing the online forums for information on others who had similar issues, I found several posts that suggested that there was a solution and that Steingold Volvo was one of the few dealers that could resolve it. I called Steingold Volvo and within 10 minutes, the problem was solved and I was a happy customer again. Fast forward to recently, I recently traded my Volvo for another model and had a terrible experience with one of my local Volvo dealers. I was told so many things that were questionable at best. I didn't know where to turn (as other local Volvo dealers are likewise not that helpful), but remembered my experience with Steingold Volvo and decided it couldn't hurt to call them. I called and spoke with a Mr. Bernardo (not sure which one). He took the time to listen to my tale, made some very helpful suggestions in how to proceed with my local dealer and also suggested that Steingold's online option for the extended warranty service contract will provide a lower price and "no bull." He was "no-nonsense," direct and helpful. He even helped me navigate the website, which was extremely helpful. I was able to get my warranty with Steingold Volvo for over $1,000 cheaper and I was provided all of the information upfront. Steingold Volvo has a referral source for online Volvo items for life.
