Wouldn't recommend dealership My first experience with Hawthorne Chevrolet was for an oil change. I made an appt. a couple days beforehand went with my 2 small children and waited My first experience with Hawthorne Chevrolet was for an oil change. I made an appt. a couple days beforehand went with my 2 small children and waited for 2 hrs. I checked with the receptionist a couple times (after seeing ppl. that come in after me leave before me) and she wasn't able to give me an answer. My second experience was getting part of my exhaust replaced. I called on a Friday and they fit me in in the late afternoon and was told that they had to order a part and it would take about a week. Gave the service rep. my cell to contact me when part arrived and he called my house phone. Made an appt. the next Saturday and spoke with a couple diff. ppl. to make appt. and finally spoke with service rep. to find out how long it would take. When I arrived for appt. a diff. service rep. greeted me asking me what I was there for and if I had an appt. After 45 mins. of waiting (thinking they were working on my car) the service rep. told me that they didnt have the part and that it was backordered. I told him the service rep. that I spoke with called left me a message and I also spoke with him. After looking harder they found it. I also noticed that they don't make eye contact or look at you when communicating or speak to you using your name. I feel like I was just another customer and number. More

Towed it in 3 times in a month When the battery died in my 2 year old traverse I was told the battery was faulty. Don’t worry about it. When it died the 2nd time less than a week la When the battery died in my 2 year old traverse I was told the battery was faulty. Don’t worry about it. When it died the 2nd time less than a week later I was told that they had accidentally broken the battery connector installing it. The 3rd time it was a bad fuse. Then the Check Engine light came on again so we’re headed back for a forth. Each time they assure us it’s fixed. I have zero faith they know what’s going on or that my car will start. Nor do I feel they care. More
