It's great to go somewhere and shop for a vehicle where you aren't rushed and you have no pressure to buy. Steve was friendly and helpful. The prices of their vehicles are overall the best and the Li where you aren't rushed and you have no pressure to buy. Steve was friendly and helpful. I found the vehicle which we eventually purchased on AutoTrader; I also viewed it on Vernon Auto Group's website. I called and spoke with Steve Ybarra a few times and he was quick to return my calls an AutoTrader; I also viewed it on Vernon Auto Group's website. I called and spoke with Steve Ybarra a few times and he was quick to return my calls and eager to answer my questions. He also was forthcoming about a small scratch on the vehicle which was not visible in the photos online--he even emailed me pictures with a dime for comparison. We set up a time for my husband and I to drive the 3 hours to Vernon to look at the car with the intent to purchase it if all was as represented. My only complaint was that, though we set up a time to view the car, once we arrived at the dealership, it was nearly 30-45 minutes before we actually had ay contact with Steve. Thankfully a different employee found the keys for us and went with us to test drive the car; a different employee walked us through the paperwork to purchase the car; still a different employee answered vehicle-specific questions for us. The problem was that Steve, proclaimed as their best salesman, was overbooked with three customers, including us, all there at the same time. We actually spent probably 10 minutes total of the hour and half in the Vernon dealership speaking with Steve. So, make sure that you reserve your time with him well ahead, because he is worth it--he is knowledgeable and very willing to help. After we left with our "new-to-us" car, he even mailed us an owner's manual, as we found out after we left the dealership that the copy for our car was missing. I do recommend Vernon Auto Group, as they have very good prices, and a knowledgeable team. More

I contacted Steve Ybarra concerning purchasing a 2011 Ford F-350, stock # F3442A listed for sale on E-Bay, on October 21, 2013. We reached an agreement to pay the listed prce of $42,000. On October 22, 2 Ford F-350, stock # F3442A listed for sale on E-Bay, on October 21, 2013. We reached an agreement to pay the listed prce of $42,000. On October 22, 2013 Steve contacted me an explained that in order to hold the vehicle until I could travel from Ohio to Texas and pick up the vehicle on November 8, 2013, I would need to pay a $500 deposit for 4 days. I would then need to pay another $500 to hold for an additional 6 days, then a third deposit of $500 until I could obtain the vehicle. I provided my credit card information and agreed that if I did not pick up the vehicle, I would lose one of the $500 deposits. Vernon Auto group sent a purchase agreement to my Credit Union in order to arrange financing. My Credit Union faxed the financing agreement to Vernon Auto Group, indicating that the financing was completed. I purchased airfare for myself and my wife to travel on Niovember 8, 2013 to pick up the vehicle. The total for the airfare was $623.80. My credit card was charged for the first two deposits totaling $1000. On November 2, 2013, I received a phone call from Steve Ybarro, informing me that a decision was made by the sales manager not honor my agreement and the vehicle was sold. I contacted Ralph Artega that same day about my concern of the sale of the vehicle and the airfare that was spent. Ralph indicated that the airfare would be refunded. To date I have not received the refund of my airfare. I have spoken numerous times with Ralph and Chris Dunson concerning the refund of the airfare, with no results. I have never received an explaination as to why the vehicle was sold, even after we had reached an agreement and the deposits to hold the vehicle had been made, until I could travel and pick up the vehicle. I have not received the refund of the airfare. I received a phone call from Chris Dunson on October 30, 2013, asking me if I had returned the paperwork sent to me. I explained that I did not receive any paperwork and that everything was in place to purchase the vehicle on November 8, 2013. I further explained to Chris airfare was purchased and I would arrive to complete the sale. I am extremely disappointed with the failure of Vernon Auto Group to honor the agreement that was in place and their decision to sell the vehicle. I am disapointed with the lack of responsiveness in the refund of my airfare. I purchased the airfare based on the agreement that was entered into and feel it should be refunded by Vernon Auto Group, since they decided to sell the vehicle prior to my arrival. I have received the refund of my $1000 deposit on my credit card. Based on the treatment and lack of honesty I have received from Vernon Auto Group, I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. More

Steven Ybarra was a very nice person, and help me with all the details for the purchase of the Volvo, all the way from Texas to Colorado Springs, even though I had to return the vehicle after a few hours all the details for the purchase of the Volvo, all the way from Texas to Colorado Springs, even though I had to return the vehicle after a few hours of the purchase for circumstance that I was not awarded since my husband is station in the east cost at fort Bragg, and ran in to a snag with his retirement papers, the dealership was awesome and fast to work with, if in a few weeks, I will get the issued solved with my husband retirements process I will come back for the Volvo if available, or maybe another vehicle, the prices are Better than around Colorado Springs and Denver.
