He had time to look it up or check with his boss. Instead he confidently and definitively said yes. So I was led on for a whole week, thinking I was going to get a car for 3 grand less than it actually was. I even made sure my wife went to test drive it. Steve also ignored my request for an out-the-door price. Twice. And when I first asked what the car's price was, he was low by 3 grand - had to correct himself when he actually looked it up. Without the deception/ignorance, 3/5. His routine was very scripted and pushy, but he's a nice, personable guy. Manager Chad did not care that his salesman gave me a very incorrect price in writing. Well, two months later I was back with more issues (unrelated to the initial problem they resolved) and Steve was highly recommended by the service manager Joe (who is also incredible) to work with him. Steve handled my situation with care and transparency, and I wasn't in the best situation financially, but Steve informed me not to worry that his manager can make the impossible possible and so they have!
