We could not have asked for a better experience. Angela never pressured us or made us feel rushed into making a decision. The entire experience was positive. Even while discussing financing with Lon Angela never pressured us or made us feel rushed into making a decision. The entire experience was positive. Even while discussing financing with London, the team remained respectful without pushing endless options on us. This is our second vehicle purchase from them. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in helping me. The showroom was clean and welcoming, and I never felt pressured at any point during the process. My salesperson, Ed Jacobs, was knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to answer all my questions to make me feel confident in my decision Derrick Anderson, the finance manager, made everything simple and transparent in explaining the warranty and other paperwork. Tyler, in parts, was very patient and helpful with accessories. By the way, if you want to customize the interior of the vehicle, they even have someone who can work with you on that. As usual, McLarty Honda exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, honest, and enjoyable car-buying experience. I’ll definitely be returning when it’s time for my next vehicle! Nancy Brown More

Sales people need better sales skills NEVER EVER BUY FROM MCCLARTY!!! I will NEVER buy or REFER anyone to buy from McClarty.. I was McLarty Honda on Saturday July 4th looking to trade in m NEVER EVER BUY FROM MCCLARTY!!! I will NEVER buy or REFER anyone to buy from McClarty.. I was McLarty Honda on Saturday July 4th looking to trade in my ridgeline to go back to CRV. I was wanting cheaper price, cheaper insurance and better gas mileage. So I have excellent credit 700, and shouldn’t haven’t made such a hasty decision. But I salesman Darrell Taylor) kinda pressured and wasn’t fully forthcoming with all Information. My last CRV was EX and sunroof, power lift gate, lane departure, back up camera, garage opener in car everything, top of the line. So when I looked at this one it was CRV EX sunroof, lane departure, back up camera, and I thought everything, but It didn’t have power lift gate, garage opener. So I text Darrell right then hadn’t even been gone from the dealership more than an hour and he said there was no other CRV available. So I told him I would bring it back and get my truck back, he said once a deal is processed then the dealership has no return policy. I thought the buyer had 3 business days. But I think since it was July 4th on Saturday, nothing was going to be processed till Monday anyway. So I am very unhappy with the decision. He did say he had a White EXL come off the truck but was going to be way out of my price range. He said well I am getting ready to go home you can check back on Monday. I emailed the general manager and he stated that he was out on Monday, but told me to speak to Steve Brooks. When I first spoke with him I knew from the beginning this was going nowhere he was young arrogant guy, that didn’t care about my feelings. I told him if I had a guy sitting next to me his tone would be much different. I just wanted my truck back so I could go somewhere where I was treated with respect. The salesman told me the white EXL they had was with ivory interior well he didn’t even look, he all the others they have been getting in have had black leather interior so I could stay with the vehicle I had or take the vehicle with black leather interior which I didn’t want because it gets super hot, but no that was not an option. Well if the salesman had been forthcoming with all the information to begin with I would have not bought the car in the first place. More

McLarty Honda sales staff uses deceptive sales practice McLarty Honda sales staff used deceptive sales practice to lure me to showroom (which required me to drive three hours) only to not honor quote. On th McLarty Honda sales staff used deceptive sales practice to lure me to showroom (which required me to drive three hours) only to not honor quote. On the morning of 4/1/2020 I spoke with Josh Gamble, Internet Sales Consultant, McLarty Honda (Phone Number 501.804.9584) regarding the purchase of a 2020 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 Automatic (VIN# 1HGCV2F35LA010793). After several rounds of negotiation, we settled on a final, out-the-door cost of $29,264. I reaffirmed several times throughout the conversation that this final number was all-inclusive of taxes and fess. I specifically asked repeatedly whether there would be any additional fees or any "surprises" once I arrived at the dealer. He reassured me this would be my final cost, period. I asked him to send me the quote in writing to avoid any confusion regarding our verbal agreement. He texted me the following: "You have my word on that price. It will not change. I also just checked with my manager so there will be no miscommunication once you are here. There are no added fees either. I won't be able to print out the worksheet however I will text my offer again to confirm it with you. $29,264 is the final number and that includes our $129 fee. The reason I wont be able to send it to you written out is that a lot of times customers will take that pricing to other dealerships just so that they match or beat me by five dollars. I work really hard to be transparent and fair and I would hate to do all the work for another dealership. Of course, I am not saying that you would do that. When would be a good time for us to get together?" After receiving Josh's text, I requested he send me a copy of the actual purchase order and associated documentation so that I could confirm there would be no additional costs beyond the $29,264 we agreed upon. Again, he continued to state his concerns with customers "shopping" his offer. He once again reiterated there would be no additional monies required above and beyond the $29,264 to purchase and secure the vehicle. We agreed to finalize the deal based on these discussions. I drove over 200 miles and arrived at the McLarty Honda just before 7 PM CST. Upon arrival I met with Josh to finalize the deal and take possession of the vehicle. It was at this time he indicated the cost he provided did not include sales tax. I reminded Josh we had multiple conversations over the phone and via text regarding the final cost and that he assured me there would be no "surprises" once I arrived at the dealer. I expressed my disappointment with Josh and his lack of honesty and requested to speak with the sales manager. I spoke with Steve, explained the situation, showed him the text message exchange, and asked what he was willing to do to resolve the situation. Steve sided with Josh and indicated there was nothing he could do. More
