I had a small leak in the muffler flange and it wouldn't pass inspection. I was told it would cost $1525.00 plus tax to fix. I took it to my local muffler shop and it was fixed in 15 minutes and the total pass inspection. I was told it would cost $1525.00 plus tax to fix. In addition to the other routine service items I had also alerted the service advisor that the alarm icon on my dash was constantly flashing and the car was "chirping." That problem WAS NOT resolved.
