My experience was good with the staff of Shottenkirk Ford Jasper but the problem I originally brought it in for is not resolved. The engine still makes a lot of rattling sounds and my gas mileage has not ret Jasper but the problem I originally brought it in for is not resolved. The engine still makes a lot of rattling sounds and my gas mileage has not returned. If the loss of gas mileage was over a long period of time I could understand it needing a tune up which is what they told me; but the loss of gas mileage was over a few days. The problem is still persisting but after 3 visits back to service and the issue is not resolved; why bring it back? They obviously can not find the problem. I’m not saying I won’t go back to that dealership but waiting for some major issue to occur before bringing it back, Maybe then they will be able to find the problem. I am a service technician and collision tech. I know how hard it is to find issues but I never just feed a line to a customer just to get them out of my way. I continue until I find tue issues. Even if it takes more time than I’m being paid. More
